If they are doing the HOH comp shortly, they may be having nominations today also. Then they could be having the veto competition and ceremony tomorrow. It all needs to be done by Wednesday.

Yes, the last week will be getting the final 3 down to two and the winner determined by the jury.
Interesting scenarios with the HOH competition (assuming the veto doesn't change anything):
If Drew or Taylor win HOH and only put up one icon, the other icon will be the one voting to evict.
If Drew or Taylor put up both icons, the newbie will get to evict one of the icons.
If one of the icons wins HOH and puts up the newbies, the other icon will vote to evict, which is what they most likely will do, because a newbie voting to evict will probably vote out an icon. But I could see Devens doing this so the newbie would evict Dee instead of him doing it.

You are missing that there will be a VETO comp and the VETO winner will cast the sole vote.

Yes, I just realized that. That makes it complicated to determine the outcome. The veto winner, if they are on the block, becomes safe if they use it on themself and will vote to evict. If the veto winner is not on the block, they obviously won't use it and vote to evict.

The veto competition and ceremony will probably happen together. Once the veto winner is determined, they could immediately go to the living room and the veto winner cast their vote to evict.

Except if they are going to do the eviction live on Thursday, it won't happen until then.
For the veto holder, I would rather they evict right away and not have to endure pressure from the nominees.

We don't know whether Devens gets to play in the HOH comp. In the past I remember at some point they let the outgoing HOH play in the next HOH competition. I am not a historical buff of BB.
I also wonder what historically has been done when the veto holder casts the vote to evict. Is it done right after the veto competition and is it all done live? If so, the veto competition might be done live on Thursday's live show.

The HOH comp shouldn’t take long if it’s comparable to final 4 seasons 26 & 27. It’s a group comp with so many rounds. #BB26 it was Crime Lab evidence cube & #BB27 it was Hidden Agenda

Devens told the cameras this doesn't seem bad for him. He figures if Drew wins the Veto, he'll send Dee to the jury and if Taylor wins the Veto, she'll want Drew gone (however if Taylor wins the Veto she only gets to decide who gets to choose who goes and that person could want Devens gone)
