I haven't been paying close attention.. did they say Pharaoh's curse is an eviction? (or elimination?) To me eviction calls for votes.. elimination calls for another competition... between Dee, Taylor and Melody.

I have heard it is an elimination. So I gather there are no votes for Pharaoh's curse elimination.

OK, I googled the curse again because of Need's post. This is what I found from a yahoo news article.

So, will there be an elimination on Sunday, and then Devin's nomination evication on Thursday?
If so, then Dee really would be in danger, whether she leaves on Sunday, or becomes a renom because either Taylor or Melody leaves.
OR: Has BB changed their minds on what their original plan was because they want the 2 icons at the end?

I think Devins needs to keep Dee. I think that is the only way he wins if he sits next to her. The others have said they didnt want a survivor to win so if they are both survivors one will win. Devins could say she already won a million and explain all the moves he made. he has a good shot

They are full of bravado and then they get to the jury house, spend two weeks together, drinking, saying, wow Dee really played a good game. She got them to save her every time. She was never on the ropes. She talked Devens into using that power of veto on her, she turned a crappy reward into a game changer..... she wins against anyone.

Jokersupdates posts seemed to indicate that the houseguests think that things move forward faster and the eviction will be sooner because of the curse. But I don't think they know all of the particulars yet. The elimination could be after the eviction.

Sigh.. Yes.. And Dee's family gets more comfortable.
Pamy, I know you want Devens to win at all costs, but if he lets Dee go, that would give him even more credibility!
Keeping Dee.. I would think Devens has to suspect that Dee has no intention of going to final 2 with Devens. Send her to jury...

I'm going to have to watch the end of the last episode to see what Julie said about it.

Final 5 learned about the Pharaohs' Curse, they know someone is leaving in 3 days. They wonder when HOH will be. Drew says no one is going to be put up, it's going to be earning safety, Devens says then they'll have veto. #BB28

So if Drew uses the veto on himself, He and Dee will cast the votes to evict. If there is a tie, Devens will vote out Melody over Taylor, so it's pretty certain that Melody will be the one evicted.

I don't think BB Unlocked really talked about this. It was mostly endless awards.
I Wang to watch the RHAP podcast about BB Unlocked to see if they mention elimination, but Taran didn't this morning unless I blanked it out.

Vegan, I can see the curse happening after the eviction. If thats the way it is, then it would be the new hoh and new veto holder being safe. Which means the other 2 would be leaving. One from the curse and the second from the eviction. Which is stupid.
None of this makes any sense. Which is typical of BB not thinking things through.

I went back and caught the end of the last episode.
Julie says that on Sunday and Wednesday the Pharaohs curse sets off a special Egyptian eviction.
And next week on Thursday and Friday a 2 night eviction event begins that leaves the final 3 in place.

So, maybe nobody votes and basically a coin is flipped on who goes? And Dee may be included in it?
Or... everyone votes for either Dee, Melody or Taylor to leave?

Grooch, I watched Unlocked last night and they never explained the curse. I am skeptical about BB rules this year since the unlimited time and amount of times Dee could ask the HGs for her bribe and the catering to the Icons this year. I would not be surprised if they cater the curse to again help the Icons, so that is why the rules were never explained. Disgusting if true.

The veto competition was the laser comp. They had to drag mummies through the lasers. Even Drew and Devens comment about how heavy the mummies were. Drew can't wait to see his played back, "I just did the most Drew things to get through it".
