They get paid the most money, came in with guaranteed safety at first, and now they want to be given the F2 against 2 girls who’ve done the least for the entire summer… I hope BB just goes back to regular unknown players who don’t get (nor expect) a huge head start!

I fear they will just get deeper into gimmicks and cross promotions, just like most other reality shows.
This season had so many with past reality or fame.. Interestingly, just the three were heavily favored. How would voting have gone if they had promoted all of their stories equally?
Or just not given advantages?
And not paid more to play when so many are dying to be on a show and are not already winners of a million?
I assume that if they get that final four Dee would be angling to be in position to be safe as HOH, and get Devens booted by Melody or Taylor. Would Devens wake up and target Dee? Would he win vs Dee?

The Icons did not have "guaranteed safety at first." The first HOH, Dee, could have put up Angela and Devens if she so desired. The Icons came in with a premade following which helped them to get the chance for a power but they also came in with premade targets on their backs as non newbies. The other 14 HG chose not to take a shot until very late into the game.
The difference is game play has been so obvious this week. Compare how the nominees (Dee, Devin, Angela) last week acted to how the nominees (Melody and Barrett especially)this week have acted. Melody and Barrett have gone out of their way to make Yash feel comfortable this week. Last week, Dee and Devins went out of their way to make the HOH feel uncomfortable with their decisions and then while that HOH hid up in his HOH room, the nominees changed the whole plan right under his nose.
Vastly different styles of play.

I’d say the 3 Icons coming in with a built-in fan base who then of course voted for the Icons to receive the first 3 Time Capsule chances for advantages was a huge head start. That was 3 weeks of the newbies not even standing a chance against the well-known contestants… I’m not saying it has to be fair or it’s the Icons’ fault… but of course they were going to forge an alliance and that gave them a huge head start against newbies who were working alone, without having seen each other play on one or two other reality shows already…

I think it was a mistake putting on two survivors that had played together and knew each other. Even before walking in the door they had an advantage. I am sure that they talked about game before they even walked in the door.
Giving them such huge advantages versus, not having to eat slop advantage, so early in the game was also wrong.
I think that Dee is going to win this season. Credit to her, she turned a nothing bribe into a game changing advantage. Was she coached in the diary room? There had to be a diary room session that discussed binding agreements because she was very well versed in the rules. I won't be thrilled if she wins but she did use the advantages handed to her and solidified a bond with the BB returnee. I cannot call Angela an Icon. What did she ever do in her first season? second season? cry cry cry. Devens may not have won survivor but he did some crazy plays.
Either do a celebrity Big Brother or do an all strangers Big Brother. No more cute (secret mother and son, long lost relatives, ex reality show contenstants). They don't need the gimmicks.

I still believe that alliance was by chance and not planned. Dee and Devins did not work together on Survivor 50 nor did they like each other much. A part of me thinks they were brought in together to maybe make conflict, not form an alliance. And Angela is a very divisive person. I really do not thing the Icons, who did end up working together were put in the house for that to happen.
As Boberg said, one of them got safety winning the first HOH, the other two did not. Dee could have easily put up Devins, he was not a friend when they came in.
I will give in to the fact the powers were a way to maybe keep them in the house longer. But one of them got a punishment. The other two could have as well.
I have enjoyed this season, and will say without Dee and Devins, I might not have. I am not a fan of most of the others. Except Drew and his hairbrush LOL

According to survivor followers, Dee and Devens WERE good friends. They weren't allied in S50, but became friends in the "loser Lodge" when they were booted.
Also, the vets, both BB and Survivor - have a history of pregaming - making plans ahead of the game when the find out they are playing.
I'm not saying they did. But the odds are good they did.
I wouldn't mind a Devens win, but I really dislike Dee's style of play, both here and on Survivor. Other than rooting against Dee, for the first time I don't have a fave I am rooting for to win.

Weird dream as I was waking up this morning:
Dee says as whomever is walking out the door (guessing it was Barrett first eviction) "Sorry... We all have to leave sometime..." (not very good jury management.. lol) ..
Then I woke up... maybe that is foreshadowing to her leaving in the double...and someone saying .. "You were correct Dee.. we do all have to leave sometime"

True Devins and Dee were not allies in Survivor but they did become very good friends and there is no doubt that they commiserated before walking in the house.

BB NEVER does what the viewers/Live Feeders want…
I’d say the most common requests/complaints are:
1. Slop—it’s 100% unnecessary, it NEVER gets seen on tv episodes
2. Too much Live Feed cuts—let us actually see the “LIVE cameras, 24-hours a day” Julie/CBS claims we’ll get! All they need to do is mute the sound, NOT cut all cameras. They could change to one of the MANY other cameras, they could cut the sound to avoid us hearing their announcements or something not allowed… and for heaven’s sake, let us watch the comps! The minute the feeds return we get spoilers. We all watch in on the tv episodes anyway. They get the money from us either way, so what’s the big deal?!

I have been watching the episodes on Taran's Patreon. It is fun to watch it live and listen to his commentary.
I think there should be an even playing field when the folks walk into the house. I think giving the survivor the Diamond veto was just wrong.

According to Jokersupdates, the wake-up call finished at 8:19 a.m. and feeds went to animals at 8:55 a.m.
