I'm afraid Dee told Barrett about the power in order to pressure him to nominate Yash by making it clear that if Yash wins HOH next week, it's pretty likely Barrett has to go up, since there won't be any options:
Yash - HoH
Angela - Devens - Dee - Safe via bribe
Only three even available to nominate. (Someone's voted out this week, before Yash's HoH.)
Instead I hope he realizes the best option is to get Dee out NOW.

I always wonder what any of these people’s end game really is. They all say they want to win the game, but don’t mind burning jury votes. I’m sure Barrett thinks getting out an icon will get him votes from the non icons. But throwing away 3 votes at once is a big gamble. All you have to do is make one other person mad, and there you are, 4 votes down.
Having said that, I know when it comes to voting, it can go any which way, but while you’re in the house making these moves, seems like it would be more of a concern.

Just remember, we really don't know at the moment if Barrett is telling the truth or lying to Drew. No clue what's going on in his brain. Wasn't Barret, earlier this morning talking about not trusting Drew and dan only go so far with him? And there they were in the hoh room talking about going final 2.
Everything is a lie right now unless we actually saw it on camera.
And hopefully, Barrett is asking the dr right now rules about the bribe. He's a hard core fan. He knows a lot more than anyone else in that house.

I think with Drew, he may want to win, but more than that he wants to parlay this Big Brother stint into something else. All he has to go on, as far as popularity, is the time capsules. He knows that all the icons won one as well as he, Mallory and Melody. I think he wants to stay on the “popular” side that so when all this is over, he has a better chance of cashing in on that popularity.

Barrett realizes that if he pisses off one of the icons, he most likely pisses them all off. Melody says if you put up Yash, then you've pissed off Yash and Taylor.

Now that the head chef was fired they have to feed themselves. Melody ruminating in the Have Not bed while the BB game progresses elsewhere. Taylor makes an appearance at the dining table for 8 minutes.
Belated cheer for Barrett winning HOH. 3 icons up please.
I missed the Yash talk in the HOH but thanks for the feeds here.
Dee reveals the Yash bribe, Barrett it doesn't matter put the 3 up, let them battle it out.
