Mamapors, they didn't call him "mean", they said "not nice". With this game, there's a difference.
He came in the house saying he was going to play the nice, goofy dad figure. This is who they met and knew for the last 45 days or so.
So far, he's twice (as far as I know) let that mask fall.
The first time was when Drew and Barrett weren't going to do what the Icons wanted them to do. Devins threatened them that he was going to go nuclear, tell all their secrets and blow up their games. He wasn't saying it in a nice voice.
I can't remember at the moment what the second thing he did that he threatened them with. Maybe it will pop into my head later.
My point is that in the house, they've seen Rick as the nice, goofy dad. They don't see all that we do. It's gotta quite a shock to them when he turns on a dime into cut throat mode. Probably why they said what they said.

The second thing he did was tell Barrett that all the icons would not vote for him if they were on Jury if he voted against him.
That is a great clip Grooch. I have been watching Barrett closely and he says very little, especially when the other HGs Drew/Devins are talking about others. He is very aware of what he says so that nothing gets back to someone else. That is also why they dont trust him. He just smiles at them, makes a little joke but doesnt commit to anything and doesnt put himself in danger with loose lips.
Just now Devins is telling Drew and Barrett how Lala came to him and said that with Haley gone she would be happy to replace her in his crew. Barrett said nothing but you could see him thinking on that one -- good to know -- bet he tells Yash that later. Not that it will make much of a difference because Lala will be gone if Devins isn't

Angela has cultivated relationships outside of the three Icons.. she still has Lala .. she lost Hayley..
Devens has Drew and thinks Yash and Barrett..
Who does Dee have??? She really has not expanded past the 5.. all of her connections seem to be a little more superficial...

Feeds 1 & 2 - Drew and Melody talking in the HOH room. He is in his bed, she is on a couch nearby.
Feeds 3 & 4 - The Pods bedroom (with the lights on) - I see LaLa and Yash motionless in their beds.
All feeds are now on the Pods bedroom.

The feeds came back to Drew and Melody. After a little bit, Melody moved onto the HOH bed with Drew. They continue to chatter away.

I'm getting nervous about her. She makes little comments to him about the game to jab at him and it's got to be making him more paranoid about everybody.

BB woke them up sometime in the 9 a.m. hour. There are seven of them at the dinner table right now (less Yash and Taylor, who was shown in her pod bed earlier).
Now I see Yash in the kitchen, and only six (less Taylor and LaLa) at the dinner table. Feeds cut to BIG BROTHER.

While the HGs eat a bag of Slenda with their breakfast every morning a lot of them share their dreams about each other. Fact or ficton? Are they just making these up for conversation or are they putting stuff out there to see what the reactions are? I don't think they could be that clever.
Just wondering.
Note to self...buy Splenda stock if it is a thing.

Taran's update was really good today. He had Mike Bloom on who has great insights.
What an ultimate blind side if Dee and Angela are blindsided by a 5-1 vote. Everyone will be shocked, not just Devins. If Dee or Angela are thinking about voting Devins just to blame Barrett, I bet Dee convinces Angela to do the dirty work then watch things explode. Angela will have a major meltdown.

From 6 p.m. clockwise, Barrett, Devins, Yash, Taylor, LaLa, Melody, Dee, Angela, and Drew.
That must be a smaller table than the one they started off with when there were 17 people.
