What did Rome do to make him a huge threat? I've been trying to figure it out and can't pinpoint the catalyst.

Dragonomine..my impression is that Rome’s demeanor and the way he interacts with others is why he is not liked. It is not so much that he is a threat imo.

Didn't Devin promised Rome he wasn't going to put him up and Angela convinced him to do it? So, I guess Angela convinced Devin that Rome is a threat in some way.

Agree Marameko. Also, rightly or not, the Crossover/Red Corner alliances see him as the ringleader for the "other side of the house." I think it was Angela who pushed that idea. Something Rome said that got back to her I think. I do remember her saying, "They all follow him around into every room and will do whatever he says." (Paraphrased)

Grooch, Devin promised that but as I recall, he never had any intention of keeping that promise and not targeting Rome.

If you cannot get a link to the live show, the next best thing (which I do sometimes) is to tune in to Ory Streams on YouTube who does a watch party. He occasionally will show you live snippets of the show.

Has Lala campaigned for herself to stay? Or is she just expecting to have the votes to stay?

I don’t think she’s done much with respect to gameplay at all.

What’s with the Jacuzzi not working? Is getting it working some sort of prize?

What is the "Coin of Destiny" power?

Here is what I found Grooch:

The "Coin of Destiny" allows a houseguest to overthrow the current HOH by correctly calling a coin toss before the HOH competition is played.

If they make a correct call on the coin, they take over the HOH job and remain anonymous for the entire week. They can then choose to change the nominations for the week or keep them the same. They also get to name the replacement nominees, all staying anonymous.

I don't remember this in the US Big Brother. Anyone remember this happening with a coin toss?

We have had the cou de tah (spelling?)

I think the coin of destiny is new and associated with Mr Beast. Devens used a coin from Mr Beast on Survivor 50 this year to double the prize money.

Details of the Coin of Destiny (per Google):

The Coin of Destiny introduced a unique twist in the game.

Introduction — The Coin of Destiny was introduced during Tiffany Mitchell's Head of Household reign in Season 23.

Function — It allowed a player to anonymously become Head of Household and make nominations, adding a layer of strategy to the game.

Outcome — Claire won the Coin of Destiny, which influenced the Cookout alliance's plans significantly.

Game Mechanics — The coin's winner was determined through a game of chance, involving a coin toss.

I wonder if a hg used it, could Devins then use his power and change the nominations?

Because the way this season is going, I can see Drew winning it and using it, then Devins using his power and sticking Drew on the block.

Did BB think this whole thing through?

That would be interesting!

I would think, though, that the anonymous HOH couldn't be nominated...

I would think the COD winner would also be immune from being nommed if Devins used his power

I don’t think it would come into play this week as it says the coin would be tossed BEFORE the HOH was played. So if someone were to get it this week, they could use it next week but since HOH has already been played this week it wouldn’t be in play.
