Kat tried standing her ground and still is but her choice is to play along with him.. BB history says the female object of an alpha male obsessed BB player doesn't win and in the case of cowboy Caleb literally was evicted because of him.
Show just starting here.. I might hate all of them soon enough.

Bubbles, yes Rachel would have “blown up” if an HoH hounded her as to whether or not she was using the veto… because that would be a normal/expected reaction. Lauren went round and round with EVERYONE in the house and just agreed with whomever she was talking with at the moment. She was BEGGING people to tell her what to do! There was no way to make a decision without hurting someone, and Lauren could NOT handle that fact. She should never have asked anybody’s opinion, and certainly not EVERYBODY’S! Rachel TOLD her what would happen if she used it. Lauren should have told everyone what Rachel said. Then nobody would’ve been shocked when it happened. Rachel wasn’t threatening, she was promising/being honest. These kids lied to everyone so they freaked out when someone told the truth. That’s on them. Lauren could have not used it, not out of fear of Rachel, but out of fear of making another enemy since someone had to be chosen to replace whomever came off the block! Remember: this Big Brother, not Big Baby!

Rachel was not very likable. She seems to think that no one but her should play the game. If you’re on the block, you try to get off. If you’re win the veto, you try to use it to improve your game. The only one who made Lauren cry was Rachel.

Agreeing with Bubbles, Lori and Kooklie! Glad I’m not alone. I was glad they showed the Lauren/Rachel convo, then the storeroom with V/L/M. The looks Rachel was giving Lauren was totally what intimidated Lauren. She was already tearing up when she went into the storeroom before she even talked to V/M. Then R wants to say they were in the wrong? Give me a break.
Having said that, if Lauren can’t make a decision for fear of making anybody mad, she never should have come on this show.

So Rachel does not get to play the game too? Rachel was very kind with Lauren, much more kind than Vinnie, Morgan, or Mickey. I wish Rahel had been more firm in the beginning. Lauren just can not make a decision. And there was much more pushing from Vinnie and Morgan. If the poor girl could not take a look from someone, then I agree, why is she even on the show!

I can't blame Rachel for being frustrated by Lauren's weak wishy-washy-ness! I'd be screaming at Lauren! She just seems so dim -- how did she get cast for this show?
And yes, Will is moving up my list. He seems to know how to lay low and be likable to all. Will he float his way to the end?
And CBS still shoving this romance down our throats -- not showing any of the questionable behavior on tv. UGH. I hate that. And Kat doesn't feel ick about any of it???

Lauren knew the whole time what she was going to do. And nothing was going to change her mind. She just didn't have the (insert whatever word you want to use) to tell Rachel til the very last minute.
It's her MO throughout this game. She's a superfan and she knows what she's doing.

Grooch you have an interesting perspective on Lauren. I'll try to view her through that lens, but I'm still not convinced she is not dim and weak.
And I agree, Will should not win anything. Just float by unnoticed and likable. I'm not sure he can win it all with that, unless he steps up and wins later, but he could go quite far.

I always record the live episodes because I get annoyed too quicky on the bad show edits, but I just watched and enjoyed this one. Except the Rylie edit. Rachel popping in everywhere to interrupt conversations. Her red gown flowing as she races down the stairs was amusing. I think Lauren is a super fan for someone her age, knowing her mother is a CEO of a hospital might be one of the reasons she is afraid of even sneezing wrong.
Rachel is playing old school BB from a decade ago and this seasons HGs are playing everyone gets a participation trophy BB.

I don’t think the term Superfan means the same to these people as they do us. I think they call themselves superfans if they watched some episodes and liked it, much the way they would say they like a music artist. I doubt many of them have even watched a full season until they were in the casting process. I also think it’s obvious they give them the last couple seasons to watch and that’s why we get 100 alliances with no allegiance to any of them. They think it’s cool to come up with a catchy name and pledge loyalty then move on to the next. I miss the old days when we had true alliances like Sovereign 6, Hitmen, Brigade, etc. At least then, we knew who was true to who and when they were just telling others what they wanted to hear.

Bbpeach, I heard Lauren say she started watching bb with her family every year when she was really young, like 10 or something. And if you listen to her arguments, you can tell she's not dumb. And as a superman, she was not distracted at all about a showmance that was being pushed on her. She's there to win the game.
And the other hgs need to get her out because she is young and athletic and will win comps.

We all know you get a very different picture when you are only watching the shows.

Sure looked like production interference to me. Did anyone see Mickey roll her ball? I rewound twice and still didn't see it. The last shot we saw is her ball rolling about 1/2 way up and she retrieving it. Camera panned back onto Rylie's ball and then they announced Mickey as winner and THEN showed her ball in the 30+ spot. SO VERY SHADY.
