I actually feel bad for Stephanie. I did not like her preseason, but she has not bothered me since the show started. Granted she is not on the feeds a lot. But it is probably some of what we saw in her preseason videos that is turning people off.
And I agree with you HWest, Jay can go now. I also tried liking him.

Jay is going to campaign to Stephanie. All this campaigning, and the replacement nom has not been made official yet. It's weird. And might be a waste of time.
I thought I heard Marty say earlier that the veto meeting was supposed to be today, but the day is almost over. Maybe Marty was wrong.

Jay has made the same pitch to each person they campaigned to.
If I have your vote, we can protect each other, I want to work with you, no one would think we would work together.
Are they going to campaign again once the replacement nominee is announced? Are we having another Kyland situation?

In light of Marty's potentially disastrous HOH, I find it interesting that Hermon's HOH was SO unproblematic that people barely remember that he even WAS the HOH.
Good job, Hermon! Winning the first HOH usually ruins the player, but he seems to have survived unscathed, with a pretty strong alliance.

Twitter is saying that now Betty is the renom, to insure that Jay goes. Not sure how this came about, Taran will probably explain.
Does Marty even realize that he has now targeted 5 HG, thus making 5 enemies? I think he doesn’t. He’s just being honest and straightforward!

I did watch the convo where that happened Rosem. It was Kyle pushing for that to make sure Jay goes, and Marty agreed. Kyle said that Kevin really could be a plus for them staying. AND he really dislikes Jay!
I really can not figure Kevin out, who he is with, who he likes. One interesting dude!!

But I also listened to a chat between Marty and Kevin last night, the jist of which was Kevin would go up if Marty could make sure the votes would be there for him to stay. It could get interesting either way.

Marty is a less frantic "Frenchie". He's all over the map, talks way too much and gives his entire game away. Definitely not my favorite player.

I assume feeds have been down most of the day so far due to the veto ceremony.
Betty, and several others have probably been blindsided already, and when the feeds return, they'll all be having their post-drama dinner, like nothing happened. LOL

Back. Betty and Jacey talking. Betty seems calm, understanding about Marty's decision.
Jacey is telling her that she will vote Jay out, and would like Betty to not nominate her if she wins HOH.
I don't know if there was a huge blow up, and now everyone has calmed down, or if everyone has been calm all along.

Betty is a smart move for Marty and his alliance. She is very much against them, and has been very open about it. Either one going is a plus for them. I still want Jay to go. I want to see how much havoc Beatty can create LOL

Me too, Mama. Jay can go, and Betty has more allies with her and can be a bigger threat to the guys.
Stephanie, Jacey, Kevin and Betty - all these people have a very simple reason to nominate Marty if they win HOH. He either nominated them, or threatened to nominate them.
And Marty will be easily targeted as 'the head of the snake' when it comes to going after the boys. Unless the boys abandon him after his HOH.
We need a woman (or vagina-having human? IDK) to win the next HOH. I don't want to see the usual steamroll by the bro's alliance.

Feeds have been intermittent, in between outages, they've been playing some kind of story telling game, everyone whooping it up.
Betty is remarkably chill about her nomination. Said the cameras follow her because she's nominated, and she says she 'has nothing to give them right now!'
I guess being pretty sure you're not the target helps, but still, it's impressive that she's not freaking out. Especially since it was a blindside.
