Thanks, Kitt. That was practically a landslide. I think people didn't like Chris' combative nature. Reminds me of BB I US where people would almost always vote off the most disruptive people.

Interesting, today's show. They either haven't realised they can collaborate on their nominations to put someone up, or they realise that the public might not like it if they did that. Most of them seem quite happy to share who they're nominating but they just don't seem to (openly) work together. I think Lydia's working on the best time to start sowing those seeds...
I've mostly liked Benedict but it seems like he's an outsider. And now Deanna too, and Lauren still.

unfortunately it is looking like Benedict might be up this week. on BOTS they revealed they did a game and he lost his right to nominate this week . I don't want him to go, he is such a complex guy I would like to see more of

I wouldn't mind in the least if Benedict is nominated and evicted. He is completely boring and his only airtime is about either porn or TMI about what he does all over the bathroom.

I think they will learn that strategizing is not about getting someone out but to keep themselves safe (the anyone but me rule) but the British public won't see this as following proper rules of gamesmanship though.
Even Norinda admitted that her & Brian had a secret code. The players have always discussed nominations. I doubt if this truly changes the game.
I thought it was always unfair to the few that didn't when most blatantly ignored the rule. As BBUS viewers know, alliances are rarely solid.
I haven't found anywhere to see the videos released by Ch5 (not the show, the "extra" videos). I get the message - not available for your country. Is there a way to unblock the videos for US viewers?

I haven't found a way to see them. Some of them appear on youtube, copied by someone else but I've only noticed a couple. It's very annoying.
I think Benedict might be quite interesting as a friend, but I suppose he hasn't been particularly appealing as a housemate. And I don't like how he gets angry with others when they do something dodgy, it's ok to be protective but he crosses way over the line into controlling.
Nominations today. Last week they released who it was early, rather than waiting for the end of BOTS, I'll post if I do see the results. Meanwhile I'm a bit behind again... weekends are hard to find BB time!

Surprised it's Lauren over Deana. Not surprised about Benedict. I really liked Benedict at first but I don't think he tries very hard to get along with a lot of people. And sorry. One time I will agree with Lydia - "NOT in a communal shower" - glad he cleaned it but still a very high ick factor.

I really hope Benedict goes and not Lauren. Lauren seems to be at the middle of a lot of the drama in the house and Benedict does nothing.
As for the videos, its a lot of trouble but a UK proxy might allow you to view them, and the bbcouchpotatoes site sometimes has US viewable copies of them.

proxy will even allow you to vote on facebook...i am tempted to do it again (what can I say i spent a few on getting my choice to the finish line last year)
I have to say would rather see Benedict stay than Lauren (yes yuck about the shower thing but please we had a guy on last year who defecated in a freezer for goodness sakes and he made it to the final) I think in the end he could provide more maturity. I hate to see the older housemates whittled out in the first three weeks and be left with as BOTS described last years lot as young dumb and full of...err.

I think if they have any older people in the house (sadly "older" is 30+ these days) then they should have more of them. I didn't particularly like Victoria, but even if she was more likable, she was always going to be an outsider when all the younger group have so much in common and she isn't part of all that.
Same with Benedict, if there were more "old" people for him to interact with then perhaps he wouldn't feel the need to play such a stern father figure to them. Or maybe he just likes moaning ;). Ironic really that the "head of the house" is the one who's supposedly being nominated for being disgusting, when typically that's a younger male thing.
And yeah, we've definitely seen worse in the house, and he did clean up. If I were in the house I'd prefer he didn't, but I'd expect half the males were doing something like that somewhere communal in the house, it's just what they do. (Sorry listening males, I did say only half of you!)

I wrote the above before seeing today's show and hearing Benedict is apparently masturbating in the shower as a public service announcement!! I don't know what sort of school he taught in, but I can't imagine there's much shame over masturbation these days. Beyond Caroline's of course. She's another one I liked at first but don't so much now.

What bothered me the most about Benedict's discussion with Caroline is that she was clearly uncomfortable talking to and listening to HIM about it. She might be perfectly fine with her friends laughing and joking about masturbation. To her, he is an adult male and she is still a kid. Actually, the way he kept talking knowing how uncomfortable he was making her made him seem a little pervy.

I cracked up at, "Masturbation Messiah." However, something is really "off" about Benedict. It was so obvious that Caroline did not want to hear Benedict going on about masturbation. What young woman would want to listen to an older guy on that subject?
Well, I laughed, too, not because I was embarrassed, but because he was so obtuse. It's the 21st century, and crusading masturbators are not needed.

He's really not very smart, emotionally, for someone who has been a teacher. I'd have thought he'd have more idea about young people and their taboos (and particularly NON-taboos) than he does. I wonder just how long he was a teacher before he decided porn was the way to go, maybe he was just padding his resume and he dropped it after two months or something!

No, Brian in an interview, maybe on BOTS, specifically claimed they were going to have the 1 hour feed after each eviction.
I dont know what changed since then.
I heard somewhere that football was preventing it.

The football has been on (is still on) but Ch5 doesn't show football, and nor does 5* (which they haven't used this season). They might have felt that people would rather have watched the football over the live stream, but if they played it after 10 or 11pm (which they would do) the football's just about over.
A week or so ago on BOTS George, in that bit with the phones need the end, gave what seemed like a somewhat rehearsed speech about the live feeds and how boring they would be, so I don't think they're going to bring them back this season. I think someone higher up must have nixed it.
