As someone who was very irritated that all the teams had a BB connection, I have to admit that I am really enjoying this season! It doesn't hurt that they are going to such beautiful places.

I'm enjoying it as well (LOL possibly because I'm not that familiar with the contestants). This episode is titled "What Would Houdini Do?"

It was a very active show tonight! Lots of stress for some teams with horses and juggling. Joseph & Adam finally completed the juggling after 134 tries! Jag & Jas faced problems getting a taxi until they covered their turbans with jacket hoods. Kat & Alex were eliminated, thank goodness. She has too hard a time handling the stress of the challenges.

Yes, happy to see her go since she was so stressed. Not a Tucker fan, but they played very well and calmly and it really paid off tonight. Not a big fan of Jag but really felt for them being passed by the taxis just because of their turbans and probably their beards. I was not pleased that Jag wants to target Izzy. But overall a nice leg and I am enjoying the season.

Also after the exit interviews where Turner said he weighed 200 pounds on the race,I couldn't see it in the clip they showed. I guess he dressed to not emphasize his weight.

I'm still enjoying the season. I agree with Phil, the players' emotions are really high and coming through as authentic. -Was so glad to see Joseph and Adam finally succeed with the juggling and avoid elimination. I really thought for a minute they were done. Loved how Adam teased his brother about how he stepped up his game with the horses when Taylor arrived. Is Joseph carrying a torch? How does Kyland feel about that? Wonder why he and Taylor broke up after the race. Okay, guess they deserve some privacy...despite having two reality shows under their belts. -Surprised the show didn't explore the issues Jas and Jag faced. I'm not a regular AR viewer. Is that edit approach typical? -Glad Kat and Alex are eliminated. I was stressed watching them be stressed. I hva eno memory of her time on BB. -I do NOT like that Jag and Jas are thinking of targeting Izzy and Paige. I really like them.

The show has always had local bigotry problems. It tends to hit people of color and women more often. Often people do better where they resemble locals. But tourists do the best they can and an amazing number of people help them. Camera crews next to them may help or hurt.

Some years some teams have had big advantages, while others did not, due to looking a certain way or speaking a certain language. As I recall in some seasons they had to warn women to dress more modestly in certain countries. But there are the first turbans. They showed the footage and included the comments, so didn't try to whitewash it. I imagine it will be covered in podcasts and interviews.

I was watching the show and wondering why they were having so much trouble getting taxis, and then I figured it out before the show revealed it - dark skins, turbans, and beards, AND dressed alike. I have been having the worst time figuring out who is who, finally figured out Jas has the more scraggly beard.

I figured it out, too, before they put their hoods over their turbans. But the camera crew would have been there too.
