I'd kind of like to see one of the non-alliance teams do well. Ricky and Cesar seem pretty good right now. They've been fun to watch.

I was disappointed for Danny. He really thought they might come in first. And didn't know if Yvonne and Melissa would ever pass. They could not sing at all. I can't either. And I might've passed them.

I wanted Danny to come in 1st so bad. I am so bored with the other 2 coming in 1st all the time. In fact this season is a big snooze fest.
Vinny is an ass but she is also whiny with low self esteem. They are awful for each other. I do think he trys to encourage her sometimes

Agreed about being VERY uncomfortable watching Amber and Vinnie. I want to jump through the television and scream, "Do not EVEN think about marrying this man. THESE days when you are crying every day are the good old days. He will only change for the worse."
I wonder what the other players think of that dynamic and whether they will speak up.
So happy Mom and Danny are holding their own and thriving. They and "the boys" make up for having to watch Amber and Vinnie.

I feel like Amber and Vinny chose either for a reason. She chose someone who would belittle her, and he chose someone he could dominate.
Time for serious counseling, or they need to go their own ways.
And so proud of Danny and mom getting to 2nd!

The guy who had food poisoning the night before did well to even get through the day. Good job!
I agree with you both about Amber and Vinny. I wish they had left this week so I wouldn't have to see them interact anymore.
Danny and his mom have a lot to be proud of!

Yikes, Amber and Vinny are hard to watch. That kind of dynamic doesn't work well under pressure. He acts like a father figure mentor, know it all. And she acts whiny and childish. I'm having a hard time liking either one of them!
I really wanted to mom/son team to come in first. So close.

I watched my recording last night and I agree with everyone that it is really hard to watch Amber and Vinny. The way he talks to her is cringe-worthy. I not only feel bad for her but also the camera/production crews assigned to them.
Danny and his mother are absolutely killing it!!

Yeah, the poor camera crew. And the poor editors! Trying to document this for us and show the dynamic, which Is hard to convey. He grabs the pen from her and she whines about it, but then she insisted she knew where the car was, but he found the car. So it's like she overestimates her competence and he assumes she's incompetent, and tries to coach her, because she is incompetent often. LOL. And he loses patience and grabs pen, while still trying to be the master mentor.

I was so hoping she was right about the car just so I could yell at the tv and say in your face! I’ve been treated like that and still am so I get why she allows it but I hope she watches this back and sees what we all see and leave him.
I really wanted the mom and son to get first too and I’m worried about next week when they lose their camera crew. What will happen??
I like the football players energy and positivity. I like Ricky and his partner can’t remember his name but I wish they wouldn’t be so good. And of course my kids are Miltary so I support the Miltary guys.

Sunny and Bizzy interview.. they were a bit frustrated about the language disparity and said that the names on clues and maps often didn't match what locals called certain landmarks and of course even borrowing a phone the google was in Spanish.
But they had a good time and I think it is Bizzy? The one with the sunglasses, who said the race actually saved her life, as their in pre race physical the doctor notes a concern with one breast and when they were eliminated she went to the doctor and because of that report she was allowed to get a mammogram (she was 36 and couldn't get a mammogram under 40) and then an MRI and indeed had breast cancer.
So she is grateful for that!!
They mentioned going on All stars and to countries that aren't all Spanish speaking.
As for the alliance, that was frustrating but she said they would have done the same thing at the meat task.
The welding was hard because the sun was making it difficult to see.
And they say that was NOT a plaza and they went by 25 plazas..
They have a good sense of humor about it all.

I have said this before but. I went to one TAR reveal party with the contestants. There was one couple where the man was treating his wife poorly and everyone there cast and crew kept saying he was a wonderful guy, things were edited sohe looked like a jerk, yelling at his wife when she fell off her bike did not happen in that order, when she fell he ran to help her, the yelling was for something else. The editors are powerful and there is so much we don't see. Whatever else that guy was, everyone who ran with him, loved him.

It's not unusual for abusive people to be loved by others.... my personal experience.
That said, you also can't put words in someone's mouth. (well, you can with AI, but I don't think that's happening here).
What he says is certainly in context, it's a back and forth between him and her, and he is mean. That's it. He is just mean to her.
And she is dippy for sure. But that doesn't deserve mean.
