As I understood it, Rick had safety from winning the coin flip, as well as, receiving an immunity idol. They couldn't vote for him.

What Kooklie said - Devens got immunity if he succeeded in the MrBeast challenge. AND he now also has an immunity idol. I, of course, had never heard of MrBeast. I read his wikipedia listing and watched ONE Youtube tonight. It was the one where he bought a grocery store, then had a 50% off everything sale to fill the store with shoppers, then announced that the last shopper to leave the store would win $250,000. Then he gave free groceries to everyone who left the store with the groceries already in their carts, which would weed out the non-players. The video went on for 42 minutes, so I didn't get close to the end of it. The shoppers built forts, and formed alliances. I inferred the challenge went on for months. Holy moley, the guy is lit. No wonder why all Survivor players know who he is. Except maybe Cirie? And should we start a MrBeast thread? This is kind of fascinating stuff. The guy is like almost the most watched YouTuber of all time, and he started when he was 14, and is now 28. He is a unique and highly talented kid. Holy crap! Dragging all of us old-timers into a new vortex. I am warning all of you now. Survivor has just slipped all of us a Mickey. Holy crap, who knew?

I have no idea who Mr. Beast is, but it was really a fun episode. All of it -- the auction, the excitement over Mr. Beast, and ultimately lyin Steph voted out! She totally was coming for ozzie, over and over. Bye-bye! If she had won the season it would have been ruined for me.

I really enjoyed the show last night and all the chaos. And it was an anyone could go home scenario at tribal. I can't wait for next week to see how things all shake out after Devin spilled everyone's beans. Lol! I have a sneaky suspicion that Mr. Beast weighted the coin to land on heads. I mean his face was on the coin, and most people (especially fans) would pick his head. And I'm sure he wanted to make sure his beware advantage was a success. If Devon had lost, Mr. Beast's challenge would have been a flop. I have no proof, but that's what I believe.

I enjoy watching her and how she handles everything thrown at her and manages to survive. And she does it without having to act horrible. She made me all teary eyed when she talked about her letter from her father. That alone made it all worthwhile for playing this season whether she wins or not.

My household followed MrBeast regularly for years, several years ago, until certain controversies. (Before launch of beastgames) No question huge for young people or parents of young people.

I had never heard of Mr. Beast before. So, when I heard he was going to be on, I thought he was an old BB player that was always shirtless and was a meat head. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find out how wrong I was.

Legal, maybe we need a Beast thread? I've never heard of the controversies.

Yes for a Beast thread. Juju had also suggested it earlier this past week.

I think Cirie is playing her best game but I also think that she is not as driven to win and more about taking what comes with grace and humor. She wants to win but seems to be able to value every moment. I have been up and down with her but I am enjoying her very much.

I suspect a $2mil winners pot will increase the gameplay and probably blow up some people’s game.

I am liking Cirie more this season than her last 3. It is amazing how most of them go to her about the vote. I dont see anyway they let her get to the finals though. I was shocked they all wasted votes on Steph when Oz and Riz both have idols that could have been flushed I actually like Emily even though she is messy. I loved her and Devins interactions
