Mak1, yes, I did. Great episode and I missed the first 30 minutes, and it was still great. Tribal was hysterical.

I'm worried that Cirie might have been a little bit to forcefully tonight though. I saw the looks people were making when she was pushing Coach to go. I hope she doesn't go next week.

The first time I realized someone had used semi-permanent makeup on Survivor was Carolyn in season 44. Then came Dee with her permanent pink lips and super dark eyebrows so I'm no longer surprised to see the eyelash extensions or anything else.
And yes, it was a fun episode last night! I do however have my suspicions as to whether they held Cirie to the timer or not since they never showed it again. And I don't think the majority believed Devens about the idol so I expect him to get called out next week. I'm just wondering who they all seem angry with next week. This is a group that loves to get their panties in a bunch over the littlest of things. And yes, Aubry, you should have kept your idol. So happy to see Tiffany and Joe with the II!

What I think happened with Cirie is that there were quite a number of rocks with Phoenixes placed on the beach. That could not have been the only one. Producers don't tell us that there are more than one placed on the beach. Otherwise, there is no way she could have found it.

Good point, Maris. When I saw all those coconuts and learned what she had to do, I was trying to figure out where to start in looking for the Phoenix. Would they have placed it near the beginning, by the water? Or all the way in the back, near the end, forcing you to check each one? Or should you start in the middle and kind of spiral out towards the outside? So, I think your right, Maris. They probably quarter the beach and put 1 in each quarter.
That, or a cameraman coaxed her to it.

Kappy, there is no way I will ever believe Cirie found that coconut on her own without any assistance from production. Production needed her back at camp.

Despite my previously voiced apprehension over it, I have to say this was a thoroughly enjoyable episode of Survivor. Probably one of the best in recent memory. Of course, part of my feelings about it involves the people who left. Although I found Coach more entertaining than many of us here do, it wasn’t like I was crushed to see him and Chrissy leave.
The whole thing was very entertaining.
