My first finale was at the original house and we sat on bleachers in the sun. I met Lanzee up there. I had previously met her at the first Long Beach meet. Then at some point they started restricting tickets by zip code and mine wasn't close enough. Bonzacat lived closer and got tickets and transferred them to me. I met a tvcher named Grammy for thar. It was the season Maggie won so CBS was really controlling. Lots of BB fans, Maggie was. NOT our choice. But they sent in CBS employees with guests and some of them had been fed the line that Maggie was really nice.. They had pre made fan signs and no one wanted the Maggie sign. We got a Janelle sign. Met her mom and best friend. After that never got tickets and stopped trying. Pamy, not surprised you would vibe with Kenzie.

Wow! And Jeff allowed her back on? Doesn't say much about him.

I don’t think I’ll watch Survivor this go around. I’ll wait until it has all-new or mostly new cast members.

Yes, I saw it. So gross. I'm having a hard time watching her Steph play this season. I want her gone, gone, gone! But I fear she will go far any maybe even win. After how many times they showed Kyle saying "I want someone from this team to Win" I fear someone from that team will win and it will be her! GROSS!

I thought they showed her glaring at Cirie during the beginning of the ep. It stood out to me for some reason. Hopefully, she is taken out. I dont want her near the finale!

Yes, ever since Bari Weiss, or however you spell her name has taken over CBS is very much pro-Maga, IMO, therefore I avoid watching many shows. There are a few that I will still watch, but I think it is clear the position the network is taking, so that is my choice.

Wow that's disappointing to say the least. Awful! It's hard to understand how Survivor and CBS could know about this and still go forward with her on the show. Did they know about it? Morality aside (and that's a big aside), it seems like a poor business decision.

Oh wow, I just watched the video above and it left me feeling sick about what I saw and heard. After that video, not a fan of Stephanie and I hope she is eliminated soon but with CBS backing her, I doubt she will be going anywhere. I've cut back on watching many CBS shows as a personal boycott against their politics. CBS is the yearling of Fox News. I'll watch and see if other networks might begin being political biased. What a sad state if that becomes a reality.

I love Eliza Orlins, and I follow her on bsky.app (known as Bluesky in the vernacular, send me an email at the address in my tvch profile if you want to know how to get going there, as it can seem overwhelming at first visit). I also vividly remember Eliza Orlins as an impressive player from whatever early season(s?) she played in. On the other hand, I would just as soon not base choosing players on their politics. I think this will be a sort of self-correcting non-problem in the future. Unless CBS begins to tend toward mostly white-only male contestants. One of the joys of Survivor has been to teach us all, over the past 25 years, the joys and success of including EVERYBODY - OMG, the first nudist! the first openly gay people, the first openly transgender, the first ADHD, the first autistic. If "they" can somehow keep letting Survivor just BE Survivor, the show will survive.

Juju, thank you for reminding me of all the FIRSTS on Survivor. They also include the elders with the youth.

I had seen Eliza's post I think after Jun Song said something on Instagram in a story. And I had a real problem seeing Stephenie on episode 1. I don't know the story on the guy she mentioned. Accusations of misogyny

So disappointing and yet not surprising re Stephanie. Survivor has always been a microcosm of our society and unfortunately, this is reflective of the US today. Thank you for sharing this video.

Thanks, Egbok! I forgot about the old people, and like, that 58-year old WINNING it one year.
