At least, the previews seem a bit more interesting than just Joe, Eva, Kyle and Shauhin continuing to run roughshod over the remaining tribal councils. After looking at the jury’s reactions during tribal, I think that if someone gets to the final 3, outside the core group of 4 and after Star was voted out, they might have a good chance of winning by leaning into the ability to navigate through to the final as someone who was not in the core.

Agreed. My favorites are now Mary and Shauhin. I still like Joe, but do not care much for him when he looks like the godfather holding court determining who’ll go after tribal.

I find it fascinating how we all feel differently about the players.
I am still team Eva and Joe. I could appreciate Eva talking to Mary right away and being straight forward with her. I was surprised when Joe talked to her, she didn't appreciate his 'jury prepping' when in fact, he did exactly what Eva did.
If not Eva and Joe, I would be ok with Mitch winning but find it unlikely.
The immunity challenge seemed so cruel and difficult! Especially at this stage of the game with them being weaker! I imagine some ate some sand for it!

I am not a Mitch fan after last night. He is a total wimp, if I was on the jury he would be the last person I would vote for. I am turned off Eva and Joe, I have to say. Rooting for Mary at this point.

For me, Mary has been top notch since day one. I would love for her to find an advantage or anything that would keep her in the game to final three.
I still like the rest of the cast although I think Joe is playing too hard. He makes plans by assuming he knows who will be lose the comps.
I liked seeing more than one physically strong player this season but I blame David for having to announce it so often. That sense of entitlement did him in.
What I don't understand is what kind of chaos Star created at camp everyday. Did she constantly betray what people had told her in confidence? They didn't really show that side of her and yet so many wanted her gone because of her chaos. She made some snide remarks about others at tribal last night that were just hurtful and not helpful to her game at all. Did she do that at camp everyday and they just didn't show it?
So far, I have been happy with the boot order. May 21st will be the finale with a 3 hour episode. Hang in there Mary!

I agree about Eva and Joe. I'm so over them.
I want to know how Star was Joe's cryptonite.
I want Shauhin, Mary, or Kyle to win.

Shauhin is playing a good game. Right now I'd be fine with him winning. I'm also still liking the secret alliance of Camilla and Kyle. So rare to keep a secret for this long!
And yes, why was Star chaotic? Loose lips? It's not clear to us.

Yeah Kar... probably because Eva never really had a chance to win it.
Maris, there is something about Star that we clearly aren't privy to - and that is probably why her confessionals don't get any airtime. It does seem odd that there are episodes that you wouldn't even know that Star was on the show.
Mitch pisses me off. He had the chance to go from the bottom of a six-person alliance to a F4 alliance and he couldn't pull the trigger.
I wonder what's going to happen with Kyle and Kamilla as they progress in the game. He's in the core four alliance, but he tells us 20x an episode that Kamilla is his number one.

Lexie, they showed Star again and again and again... and she clearly was never in contention.
Star got a lot of air time last night, I thought. And she's not that great a rapper...

and that was because she was getting booted. I saw her interview in Parade and she is very gracious. More than I would have been considering how they treated(dismissed) her.

Yeah, production is often a predictor of who is being booted. Wasn't Star the one who gave her idol to Eva? I know that was awhile back, but it was probably the only thing of note that Star did, so got her airtime then.
Face it, Star wasn't really playing the game, so yeah, no air time.

Yes. She gave the idol to Eva because Eva was able to solve the puzzle to get it open.

I’d forgotten about that and obviously Eva forgot about it too as she didn’t seem to carry forward any gratitude toward Star at all. Rather puzzling.
That was another one of the dullest Survivor episodes in recent memory. I can’t imagine what production thought trying to string this snooze fest together.

Mary is still my favorite. If she could pull off going to the end, I would love it.
I am not anti Eva or Joe.
And Star and her rapping made me really want her to leave..

I think Mary is my favorite too. She’s managed, so far, to avoid getting voted out. In reality, she’s been the easy vote for quite awhile.

Yes, in the Pearl Islands season of Survivor, Jeff Probst initially declared a winner of a word scramble challenge, but then realized a spelling mistake had been made, requiring a re-challenge. Burton initially won immunity, but his name was given back and Darrah won the re-challenge.
