I'm so bored with the main alliance. The previews for next week make it seem like the underdogs are going to revolt so we pretty much know that wont work and Joe and his followers will prevail

You cannot convince me that production didn't tell Eva which canister to pick when she snuck out of camp. Production was going to make sure she got another advantage.
I hate what Jeff has done to this show.

Eva's advantage gives her the ability to leave tribal council without voting and return to camp, safe from eviction that night. I assume she could also give that power to someone else.
Someone used that power in a previous season.
If production was giving her the right choices, I would think she would have gone for the one in three choice as well.
I am not convinced that production intervened.

Eva didn't need another idol. After last week's interference by production to guarantee that Eva would find the clue in her chips, I'm convinced that they told her which scroll to take. They have to ensure she wins something since most of Jeff's new twists in the "new era" fall flat.

I don't fret over possible manipulations by production. I just don't think they're real... what we see on the show is not what they are seeing when it's being filmed. So we have an entirely different perspective. Sometimes players are just intensely disliked by everyone but the show never tells that part of the story. Sometimes someone is really loved and we miss that part too.
I do wonder why they chose to give an extra advantage for that challenge versus the one Joe just won, but it may have been scheduled in. Probably was, and it was just random that it happened on Eva's win.

By the way, I think it was kind of dumb for the strong group to vote out David so early, as we see in the previews (which may be misleading), the vote could now be 4-4....

I just don’t like Kyle and Kamilla. Can’t say why, but I don’t like their style of playing. I liked that David saw thru Kyle. But that didn’t pan out very well for him.

I don’t see Kyle and Kamilla doing anything differently than anyone else?
I’m with Pamy that this has been a very dull season. They’re all likeable but quite boring. The only one I find entertaining is Star and she doesn’t do much game wise. I will say what Eva has accomplished is impressive but Eva is pretty much the entire season.

True but if they get rid of Joe, Eva may not cope well and the whole storyline of Eva, overcoming challenges could become tragic. I worry about her.

I also call bs and Eva being able to walk into the lighted area of the island. How did no one else see that earlier? I almost wonder if Shauhin wanted to follow her and production told him he couldnt.
This is probably my least fav season in years! It just feels like a bunch of bullies running the show.

Star once again had a funny moment. Why they never show her is beyond me. I bet she has lots of funny moments but the main alliance is so dismissive of her. I honestly believe she thinks she is part of that alliance because we dont see her being anything but really upbeat and happy. She did post on twitter after the first couple eps that she was hurt and had no idea how they were going to screw her on the idol clue she found.
Everyone loves Joe, but I am finding him more and more like the Godfather.

If you didn't watch the TC, you would never know that Star is on the show.
I'm with Pamy - this may be my least favorite season in years. I was done when I discovered last week they had place cards at the reward and Eva was assigned the seat by the chips with the clue.

Getting caught up on Survivor -- I was so glad they voted David out! He was just too arrogant... "I'm taking you on the reward".
This season is not as nail biting as others, but I'm still enjoying it a lot. It will be interesting to see if Joe is able to keep his word. And I'm rooting for Kyle and Camilla. And yes, hoping Star can sneak along in there!

Heh, read David's GF dumped him when he didn't win the million. (He must have told her? I thought they weren't allowed to?).
I'm still liking this season. There are things I like and dislike about those remaining. Once Sai was gone, I was good with all the rest of them.
I don't find the group in charge to be any more or less arrogant than those in the past that thought they were controlling the game. I think something about the isolation encourages that simple arrogance.
They usually get their comeuppance at some point.
