And THANKS for the info on Amazing Race following . . . Love Boat was ridiculous, and by the time AR went on, I've fallen asleep. Thankfully, I have my DVR set, so that ends up being Thursday TV for me.

I think it was to weaken Jeanine further, so I winnced when she gave him her idol to hold (unless he slipped it back to her after no one used a power, but I think he walked out with it).
Karla seemed so agreeable to sending ANOTHER woman home, Noelle.. wow.
Glad Owen was okay.
Gabler was pretty amazing all the way through that challenge.

Yeah, Dwight getting voted out came from left field for me. I thought I must have missed something.
Felt bad for Noelle that she got tangled in the net. It was hard for her to rotate in placed with her prosthetic leg. Which so far she has proved to always be able to push through.
Well, thank gosh Dwight took an idol with him... there are too many of them lol
I was sure Gabler was going to win that challenge. I figured he has strong forearms and hands since he is a heart transplant doctor. He has to have grip and stamina since those surgeries last upwards of 4 to 6 hours usually. Cody did a fine job too.

I could be wrong, but I thought I saw Jeanine's hand touch Dwight's hand before the votes were read. So maybe he returned her idol?

Since, Tablet Gabler is not a doctor. He is involved with medical devices used in the surgeries and is present in the operating room. But he definitely has a lot of strength! Good episode for him. He will probably be more of a target now.

Sea you know what? And I knew that! Lol I KNOW he is a clinical specialist....All I can say is it was late and I had a brain fart! But I was definitely thinking he has been good with his hands in general....and is stubborn as heck...so I didn't see him giving up easily.

Probst confirmed in an interview that you can't hand off an idol once the votes start being read. If it's in X's pocket, and X gets voted out, anything in X's pocket is now out of play. Even in the middle of voting, before X knows they are being voted out, they can't hand off any advantages. Poor JEanine, losing her idol this way really stinks!

Dwight confirmed that he walked out with the idol. And he was very close with Noelle. And Cody refused to engage with him all season.

lol glad to know I was not alone!
Dwight leaving with Jeanine's idol....that might have something to do with the mouth-open look of horror on Jeanine's face when he got voted out. Maybe we will find out that someone knew that she had given him her idol for safekeeping and that played into it?

I could be wrong as I haven't rewatched it but I think it was Cody who brought up Dwight's name to Jesse. Jesse in turn mulled it over and said he would need to talk to a few people and said it would be a good way to weaken Jeannine. But yeah, that was the only bit we were shown as to talk about Dwight going.
They must have showed Jeannine at least 3 times during tribal reaching back to Dwight and tapping his leg - probably as a way of saying give it back to me but he just said something like "I got you, I see you".
Cody has really grown on me since the start and I hope he goes far. Sami continues to show his maturity that is beyond his age. When Nicole was still stuck in that net, I was screaming for someone to just cut the frickin' netting already! But no, Jeff just sees what will make a great dramatic moment and so just let the young exhausted woman lay there while others struggled to get her out. Not cool Jeff Probst, not cool.
Still loving this season as I have so many people I'm rooting for and wish they'd give us 2 hours or at least divide it with TAR and give us 1 1/2 hours.

Cody is the salesman (secretly) who told people not to trust a salesperson, I think Justine.
Then, per Dwight, Cody would accuse Dwight of being a Survivor expert, just because Dwight knew some things about Survivor that Cody did not. When he went to the other tribe to steal something, he made sure to alert them that Dwight was a threat as an expert. This continued at merge.
They wanted to target Noelle, but finally someone (production?) had clued them in that the string of women being voted out was maybe not a good look. Dwight and Noelle were very tight.
As for letting Cody have agency, yes, but that also kept the others from being seen as targeting Dwight.
Cody is playing a game I appreciate but not one I love.
I didn't like that net thing and leaving people stuck inside. Jeff may love his created sweet moment, but me, not so much.
