Yippee Skippy Folks!!! We're starting a new season.
I wasn't sure last season how well it would turn out but Kid Sis and I really enjoyed it. So we're pulling out the popcorn & looking forward to it.  See yaall there!

Watching and they seem to be a good cast. It will be interesting what these guys do with this new version of survivor.

Daniel, the guy who popped his shoulder, when he speaks, sometimes he sounds like Jeff Probst. I never thought of Probst having an accent, but they must have the same accent. I need to check out where they are both from.

He quit taking lithium just before coming on the show. Being dehydrated and not eating could cause bad side effects while his body is detoxing, is what I understand what happened. Dang, I liked him.

Somebody's going to get hurt in this immunity challenge with these chests. I worry about Daniel and his shoulder. He should have sat out this one.

Argh! They voted off the wrong person.
The one they kept is very annoying and gives away to much when they talk. This person isn't trustworthy, not out of being a bad person, but because they are to emotional and they think they know it all. To pushy.

I wonder if he could have stayed if he didnt stop taking the med and just kept taking or if they dont allow people to be on meds

Great first episode. I'm so happy it was two hours and they didn't try to squeeze it and gave us a chance to get to know the contestants. Pretty disappointing about Jackson though.

Maryanne is one of the more "unique" players but I can't help but think she's not going to be "cutthroat enough" to go far.

So disappointed that they voted the nerdy Zach off.  I wanted Tori to go... darn it.
And way disappointed about Jackson! Partly his fault because he didn't disclose he had weaned off lithium until the day before they started. But I'm sure he didn't have enough notice that he was chosen to wean off sooner. Maybe if he stays off it, he'll get another chance? (fingers crossed)
PS - I love Maryann too! We would all do better to be a little more like her! I'm hoping she goes far since they won't see her as a threat!

I was so sad Jackson was not able to continue! I was totally rooting for him to go to the end.
As soon as Jeff said that they were going to essentially do the same game as last season, I groaned. I don't think I can take another "I am like broccoli in the forest, my skin is like a potato"...
So I'm going to have to suffer through all the twists and turns that I did not like last season, again LOL

I love the idea that because both seasons were filmed back to back, the cast doesn't know what is in store for them. But we do!

I don’t want to get my hopes up too quickly but this seems like a good cast. A lot of interesting people.
I was also disappointed when Zach was voted out. He seemed much more interesting than Tori.
Daniel seems like a sweet guy. Plus he’s so tough. He must have been in very bad pain from that shoulder injury.
Wow Jonathan is amazing physically. He’s like a beast!
Oh and Maryanne is delightful!
