Hi JuJu ... Thanks so much for the kind offer. My daughter has a laptop and a keyboard she has given me. We are trying to get it to work. She thought it would be a piece of cake, but so far it has outsmarted us. Plus we just moved in here last Saturday and our energies have been more on making this place livable for me. Success there ... All went well. She goes back home today to her family. I think I might try just try what Karuuna recommended. I had not thought of that cause daughter thought she had it down.
If I don't get this thing going, Juju, I'll take you up on your offer when you get back. Then, either way, there is going to be the learning curve of me relearning a new system .
Thanks guys for understanding and sending the support. The sheriffs department has spent a week so far trying to serve papers. Will keep you posted. .... Hugs, Ginger

Jimmer, I have always been real. It is all of YOU that are just figments of MY imagination. 
Okay, Ginger, let's do that. You let me know if you need one of my spares. As I said, they are absolutely sturdy little (13") beasts and will probably last forever.
Good suggestion, Karuuna, although nobody in this town works cheap except me and Bigdog. I have now learned to make a system image every time I get a new laptop and to keep them all labelled. I have successfully reinstalled from a system image a number of times, and it is not really difficult, just finding the discs and cords and remembering the trick of starting with the last disc first. It would actually be less trouble than for me to find somebody to do it and take it there.
Ginger, if you are just going from Windows 7 to Windows 10, it is fairly intuitive and not that much different. Any time you get stymied, just Google it. There are TONS of Q and A's on everything you can imagine. And always remember Occam's Razor - the simplest solution is often the answer.

Ginger, I do not in any way mean to imply that if I would offer you something you need and that I can give, it would mean that you should continue to entertain us here as you have done for years. I don't mean that at all. I would not even consider that given the total upheaval in your life that you are dealing with that you should try to bravely carry on with all you have done for us over the years.
First thing is Save Yourself. We will get by just FINE until you can get back to us as your very own survivor. There will be somebody else who can fill in for you for however long it takes you to get back to a semblance of regular life.
I apologize. I just was not thinking. All of us here only want you to be well and safe and happy, and THEN come back and play with us.
But if you need it, and it would make your life easier during the divorce, I could send you a sweet little reliable laptop. And none of us here would expect anything in return except someday knowing that you are okay and lived through the ordeal which most of us cannot even imagine and would not want to.
Good luck and best wishes, our wonderful friend. Our hearts are with you, and we will miss you and look forward to the time when you can come back to us and share some of your talents and insights.
I think you have been on the board for a long time, but just in case you have forgotten, we have a whole other part of this website where people share advice and support with each other.

Ginger, I am thinking about you! Years ago, I also faced divorce after 26 years of marriage that I thought was unshakeable. It's hard but you can do it. Taking care of your physical and mental health is first priority. Wishing you the best!

First time at court today. Was a little anxious, but not much. But when I got home, I could hardly wake up the rest of the day. My daughter said my body was trying to adjust to that part being over. Still such a long way to go ... But tiday I got restraining orders fir life or until I want it stopped, plus the right to go back into the house with police escort to get anything important I left behind. Thumbs Up!

Sounds like things are moving along. This is the first I've looked into this thread so I'm late to your news.
Glad you got the restraining order and will have an escort to get what you need out of the house. Hopefully the other proceedings will go well too.
And indeed, Juju is as real as real can be! I have met her any number of times. She and Bigdog are always worth a drive if they are nearby.
Pamy, Scooter, Karuuna.. all real, all a delight to meet and meet again. And many others, of course.
I do trust that Jimmer is real or if he is a figment, he's a really nice figment. 
And you have even pulled Kaitoona out of lurkdom.
I hope you can feel safe where you are now living and will get that computer (or Juju's) going and be feeling more in charge of your world soon.

Thank you guys for all the love and support. Now that the first court date is behind me, I'll start seeing what I can and cannot find to bring over and see how much luck I have in bringing it over.
First, I need to set up a 1st Episode thread as they have pictures out now from that episode.

One of my favorite places to visit is True Dork Times.
Their calendar shows that the David vs Goliath series was filmed from March 29th through May 6th (39 days, as usual).

PPS: I haven't watch Survivor in years but I might check this one out since the premise intrigues me.

I'm doing fine, guys. My daughter is around and helping me tremendously. So far ... So good. Wonderful to know that I have so many praying for me and giving me support. I should have left a long time ago, but until it got physical, I just couldn't make that decision. Getting physical lit a firecracker under my booty.
Hope this season is as good as it sounds.

Ginger we have been here together for so long now. I’m really sorry you are going through such a hard thing.
I read something the other day that said.
Sometimes your friends are your family even though they are not blood.
Sometimes your family is not your friends even though they share your blood.
Husbands aren’t blood but after decades together it becomes hard to sperate.
Do what’s best for you. You matter.
I can tell you from talking to my family here at TVCH that we always, always stand together, have each other’s back, will send prayers and support. Whatever you need.
Once again I’m so sorry you are in this situation. But we will be here for you. No matter what.
Having you post stuff for tv stuff is just a side benefit that we enjoy but it’s you that we care about. 💋❤️
