I absolutely loved the premiere - especially that it was 90 minutes so we got a chance to get to know more of them. It also helped that it was two tribes and not three. It was too hard to get to know them last season when they were in three tribes. It looks like TPTB listened to the fans.

True -- much better with two tribes, not three. And last season didn't they "drop your buffs" (shuffle tribes) every two or three shows early in the season? Got confusing.

Yes they did Color which made it even way more confusing. But Jeff and TPTB were excoriated over social media last year for a one-hour premiere and three tribes and the constant shuffling.

I am surprised they called off Tribal Council.
Pat was from the Goliath tribe and the David tribe was the one going to tribal.

Pat was on the David Tribe. So, they were going to Tribal anyway. With Pat's injury, no tribal.
