I feel the same way, I don't have a favorite - and I was glad Chrissy won the immunity, only to throw the wrench in the plans! I love a last minute scramble in Survivor.

I didn't really think that Chrissy was their target this week anyway...I thought Joe was their target from the get-go. Did I miss something?

It does feel like a different season. It seems that every player remaining is playing hard. And there isn't a really evil villain. And no clear cut favorite for me either. I think they are all likable to a degree and all a bit arrogant too. I love Survivor.

I like Joe. I would like to see him get another season and hopefully he will play differently. Playing to be "intentionally annoying" is never a good strategy.

I like Chrissy. We’ve been discussing (in News & Views) how the world could be a better place with more strong women in leadership roles. Yet it seems that many Survivor viewers don’t like women like Chrissy who play Survivor in an intense way. So I was hoping that people could quantify what Chrissy is doing differently than other strong Survivor players that makes her less of a favorite.

I think Lauren is a stronger player than Chrissy. I really haven't been paying much attention to Chrissy.

yeah, I don't think it's true that many don't like women who play intensely any more than it's true that they don't like men who play "intensely." Viewers like people who play well, craftily and a bit humbly. Look at when we've had favorite player votes... it's never been people who let their (temporary) success go to their heads. That's why a lot of folks were very happy that Ryan and Chrissy ended up being turned on. I liked Lauren too, but then she got that arrogant thing going also. It's just a turn off... whether you are male or female.

I agree that none of the players have been particularly humble when in powerful positions in the game (and that’s often true in real life as well). That’s why I wondered why viewers seemed particularly turned off by Chrissy. Some powerful people are humble but that’s a rare thing regardless of whether the person is male or female.

Honestly, I don't see people any more turned off by her than by her partner Ryan. In fact, most people mention them together (Ryan & Chrissy, Chrissy & Ryan). So I'm not following your logic. But maybe that's just me.

On FB many people dont like Chrissy, not sure why. I think she came across snooty/condesending at the start, probably not intentionally. My beef with her is she got out my fav Ali when Ali really trusted her. I think the last ep showed her vulnerable side, so maybe more will warm to her.

My favs are Lauren, Devon, and Ben... And I really liked Ashley until she tried to oust Ben... and I get why she did... I just hate to see someone flip on an alliance so quickly after they all promised Final 4 with tears in their eyes during their reward challenge. I'd be super happy with either a Devon or Lauren win.
