After his defeat on 'Survivor,' Alabama's Caleb Bankston settles in at the Ponderosa
In a behind-the-scenes clip released by CBS (see it below), he gets a warm welcome from his fellow jurors Aras and Vytas Baskauskas.
A quick medical checkup indicated Bankston had lost more than 20 pounds since starting the show. "I haven't seen that in a long time," he said, looking at the scale.

EW: Wow, Hayden has been working it HARD these past two weeks at Tribal Council in an attempt to sway votes. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen someone so competitive and combative, yet in such a likable way that nobody even seems upset at him after for it. How good is this guy?
PROBST: Hayden is a natural. He’s very persuasive, he’s much sharper than people give him credit for — plus he has a rare quality to not take it personally. If you can get to the end of Survivor by playing hard while still maintaining a sense of humor, you can win. Hayden could win.

‘Survivor’ Castaway Katie: Ciera Is ‘So Good at Lying���
Katie Collins: It has been too long.
Gordon Holmes: I know, what’s your deal? You go away for 39 days, then I only see you on TV.
Collins: (Laughs) I’m sorry.
Holmes: What’s a guy gotta do, get a club and a cave?
Collins: (Laughs) My mom does want grandbabies.
Holmes: OK, do you have an idol?
Collins: With me?
Holmes: In general, what is the proper response?
Collins: Not with me.
Holmes: Yes, you do.
Collins: I do?
Holmes: See, you’re never confident when someone calls you out on idol related issues.
Collins: Oh…but here’s the thing, when I went away I came back to the camp and Ciera was digging through my bag. And, they didn’t show this on camera. I asked what she was doing and she said, “What do you think I was doing in your bag?” And I was like, “Oh my god!” I could have had the idol in there. Then her and Caleb went away for an hour and a half. So, I thought she stole my clue and her and Caleb found it. That’s why I believed her in the hammock. And she’s so good at lying. I’m a horrible liar.

The son and brother of 'Survivor' reality TV contestants Tina Wesson and Katie Collins has been killed in a horrific car crash in Tennessee.
Taylor Lee Collins, 25, died December 3 when the car he was riding in went off the road in Chattanooga and rammed into the wall of a garage at 20 South Germantown Road.
Collins, who was sitting in the front, was ejected from the vehicle because he was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
He was rushed to an area hospital, where he died a short time later from his injuries, Times Free Press reported.
Travis Boles, the grandfather of Taylor's girlfriend, 25-year-old Brittany Boles, told National Enquirer that the young man and a close friend were heading home from a party last Tuesday when the accident happened.
The vehicle they were in jumped up on impact with the garage, tossing the passenger, Taylor, out of the car. The driver suffered only minor injuries.

Wow. Another Survivor finale. Which means another Survivor finale recap. This is my time. It’s my moment. I’m gonna own it. All the cards are in my hand. It’s my call!!! EW: What do you make about all the jury people picking at Monica’s personality. None of that stuff seemed to have anything to do with gameplay? Is that an example of, I’m hurt that you got rid of me so I’m going to hurt you back?
PROBST: I am still unclear on what it is about the Culpeppers that rustles so many feathers. The only observation I have to offer is that they do seem to have a pretty good life and they like to talk about their good life and oh yeah, they look good while they’re talking about their good life and Monica was in a super tight alliance and she won a bunch of challenges and her skin is flawless — so maybe it’s just a lot for mere mortals to endure.

'Survivor's' Hayden Moss: 'Big Brother's' social and mental aspects are tougher
Contrast your "Survivor" and "Big Brother" experiences. How are they similar? How were they different?
H: The biggest difference is the physical difference. "Survivor" is physically hard. You're trying to survive off the land, trying to fish, find bananas. On "Big Brother," you have a refrigerator. On "Big Brother," when you're bored, you eat. On "Survivor," when you're bored, you starve [laughs]. But "Big Brother" is a 90-day game, so the social and mental aspects are a little tougher. Overall, though, "Survivor" is just an amazing game.

'Survivor' interview: Monica not happy with tribal council
(You know Brad will buy Monica's immunity necklace for Christmas.)
I interviewed Monica Culpepper by phone from LA this morning and you can read the full story here. While she was happy with how she played, she was not happy with out that final tribal council that put her through the ringer. It also seemed a bit sexist to her that only the woman is asked to reveal some inner ugliness or expose her heart.
A couple of intriguing takeaways from my interview
--Ex-Buccaneer Brad Culpepper, who was the fifth person eliminated from the game, and ex-teammate Warren Sapp did a “hilarious” tryout video for The Amazing Race and she wouldn’t be surprised if the show came calling. Now that's a video I would love to see.
--Monica Culpepper got a $100,000 second-place prize. That one vote put her as the most winning of Tampa Bay Survivor players. Teacher Jan Gentry came in third in 2002's Survivor Thailand.
--The props, immunity idols and necklaces, torches, banners and more from the season are up for auction here with the proceeds going to Philippine typhoon relief efforts. (Monica told me she's asking Brad to secure the immunity necklace she won as a Christmas gift)
