Thanks Wilson, I've put it up on my FB page. I don't always watch Survivor, but I sure will now, so I can root for Lisa Welchel (Blair from Facts of Life). Go Blair! ;);)

I have yet to miss a season of Survivor, but I will be VERY interested in watching Lisa play! Her snooty girl "Blair" seemed much different than her real life (she's quite conservative), so it will be fun to catch up with her!

I got to meet Lisa Welchel at a Christian Conference called Women of Faith. She talked about her faith, her family, and how it was hard for her to make friends, to trust people. She came across as genuine, so I imagine she'll be eaten alive on Survivor!

That was kind of my impression, too, Reader. She's always been a homebody, sweet and helpful - not qualities that will get you very far in Survivor. However, I'm hoping she's nice enough she'll at least make it to jury because people will want to keep her around.

And she wasn't recruited, she applied as a fan..I think a lot is going to depend how her tribe fits together- just looking at the other four we know of makes me think she might make it a while (she's not the oldest- there's a 53-year old on her tribe), plus we don't know who the returnee will be for them (Michael might be the best fit I think)...

Survivor Philippines Preview will air Monday, September 10 at 9/8c on the TV Guide Network. It will be hosted by Maria Sansone. It will go on location with a look at behind the scenes, interviews with Jeff and all players, a look at the Tribal Council set and a sneak peek at an immunity challenge.

I am so happy Jonathan Penner is coming back. He is one of my most favorite and memorable players of all seasons because he is all strategy (not necessarily great strategy sometimes though) all game all of the time and shares a lot with us viewers about that.
I really don't care to see people crying because it's raining or emotional voting. The more strategy, the better.
Another thing I like about Jonathan Penner is that he sounds just like Alan Alda.
