I can only snap on my left hand. never could on my right.
I could never do a proper whistle either.
I can roll my R's!
I can float and I finally got my adult daughter to float. She wouldn't put her head back far enough. Finally she trusted me and can float now.

I can whistle.
Some days I can snap fingers but today isn't one of them.
I can really roll r's. My first year of Spanish was taught in Castilian and one of the differences, besides c being pronounced th is you really roll rs
I could float last I tried.

Out of curiosity, could it be a German dialect thing? My mother always said "i-deer" instead of "idea". Her father came from Germany. And I've noticed that Trump and Heidi Klum pronounce it the same exact way.

I missed a couple of questions so...
What device to you "mostly" read this board from?
My laptop during the day, but my iPad last thing at night and first thing in the morning.
What is something most people can do, but you cannot?
I can say wash, but I have a lot of trouble with "sps" sounds, like wasps or crisps, I get stuck in a loop and can't finish the word. So I end up saying waspspspspsps before I force myself to stop.

My birthday has never been the same since my mom died 28 yrs ago. She made it so special. My husband and son are good to me but it just has never been the same

I guess I do but then again it just happens our wedding anniversary is the same day. Yes, we got married on my birthday. We picked that day because we were honeymooning on a 10-day cruise in the Caribbean and the Caribbean season was winding down for the fall-winter season. The best choice was a cruise that started three days after a Saturday and that Saturday just happened to be my birthday.

No. Neither Bigdog nor I are big celebrants of any particular dates that others look forward to. We just had our 50th wedding anniversary on July 9 but we couldn't celebrate then because we were too busy getting ready for the last big cruise to Greenland, and we had appointments at the DMV to get our enhanced driver's licenses on that date, so we spent our anniversary in line at the DMV.
I did give the cruise line a fake anniversary date, so they would do some sort of pathetic dinner ceremony, which they did, and our friends gave us an anniversary card at the dinner.
So, birthdays? Not so much.
Oh, and our new enhanced drivers licenses were waiting for us when we got back home, and there was something wrong with the lighting, and both of us have bright blond/e hair in our photos!!! Neither of us is, or ever has been, blond/e. Bwahahaha!!!

Although I'm really not about my birthday, my family always gathers for dinner and cake. And my hubby always gives me flowers that morning. The best thing about my birthday is that I'm gathering with all my loved ones that day.
Our Anniversary falls on July 22nd (47 years this year) but we do not celebrate. Instead we use that date to celebrate our grandson's birthday.
