Probably Amazing Race though years ago it would have been Big Brother until they messed up the format…at least for me,

Amazing Race, obviously, especially since I have already done one of the challenges - the one where they walked on rope and board suspension bridges 60 feet above the jungle floor. At the time I saw it on Amazing Race, I remarked that I didn't know if I could do that one, and then a few years later, I inadvertantly signed us up for a shore incursion that included a lovely "canopy walk through the jungle", and it turned out to be exactly the one that was on the race, and we couldn't chicken out because we had walked a mile through a steaming jungle floor to get there, and we could either walk back via the boards and ropes or on the jungle floor.

Juju, was it as scary as it looks while you were walking over it? Or was it a piece of cake?

Romper room! LOL. I wanted those yellow things you stood on to walk. For old shows, I'd want to be on the Mole, with Anderson Cooper.

I still haven't gotten over that the host never said my name when she had her magic mirror at the end of the show and saying who she could see. I waited every day for her to say it.

When you think about it, this just might turn into the next Daily Poll question.

Lol! Hugs to all my left out friends. I'm sure we all were Do Bees. Romper, bomper, stomper, boo. Tell me, tell me, tell me do. Magic mirror, tell me today. Have all my friends had fun at play?

I don't remember watching that. Shows my age .. Started in 1953, but I don't remember when we got a tv, though we were early to tv on our block. Even by 1953, I was in school all day. But at least I wasn't scarred by being left out...

I also waited for Miss Sharon to say my name yet she did not. I think my cousin was on Romper Room once.

I know of Romper Room, but never avidly watched it, and thus am also not scarred for life by not having my name called, although there are a shit-ton of folks in my age demographic with my same name. Our mothers all watched Wizard of Oz.

My best friend Dorothy when I was a kid was on Bozo's Circus and got to play the Grand Prize Game! She won a bunch of doll house furniture and I can't remember what else. I was so jealous.

So a funny story. Back in the early sixties, there was a tv show called All join hands on CBS. Every episode had a different focus and one episode was the United Nations. A bunch of us "un kids" were on the show, kids from different countries and my younger sister was on the show with me. We did a task showing how all us kids of different cultures could work together. I remember we were making a puppet with a red rubber ball and a stick, we had different accessories we could put on the ball. So my younger sister, who was somewhat spoilt demanded that I give her something. We got into a hellish fight on the show. That was the beginning and end of my entertainment career.
