Guy Lafleur passed away at 70. He was a fantastic hockey player who played for the Montreal Canadiens in the 70's.
Nicknamed "The Flower" and "Le Démon Blond", he was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was the first player in National Hockey League (NHL) history to score 50 goals in six consecutive seasons as well as 50 goals and 100 points in six consecutive seasons. Between 1971 and 1991, Lafleur played right wing for the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, and Quebec Nordiques in an NHL career spanning 17 seasons, and five Stanley Cup championships in 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978, and 1979 (all with the Canadiens). In 2017, Lafleur was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history.

This one hits me hard.
Naomi Judd had passed away at 76. The only cause of death was vaguely given by her daughters.

Oh, thank goodness, I have been trying to figure out how "mental illness" made her die and the only thing I could think of was that it was suicide.

When the two performed at this year's CMT awards, I was surprised at little Naomi sang and hoped that it wasn't because she was ill or at the beginnings of Alzheimers or something else. This just breaks my heart.

Naomi Judd died near Nashville, Tennessee, said a statement on behalf of her husband and fellow singer, Larry Strickland. It said no further details about her death would be released and asked for privacy as the family grieves.
The Judds were to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on Sunday and they had just announced an arena tour to begin in the fall, their first tour together in over a decade. They also made a return to awards shows when they performed at the CMT Music Awards earlier this month.

In the years before her death, Naomi Judd was candid about her battle with suicidal ideation, panic attacks and the ups and downs of her mental health struggles.
That fight eventually led her to advocate for others.
