I have never heard the rumor that Tom Selleck is gay until just now. Or is it true? Talking about him with a friend in an e-mail. She said he is. Of course doesn't matter. If I try telling my friend it's a rumor, well . . . . She can be difficult if you try to "correct" her. Figure I can get the truth here?

According to a quick search online the rumor that Tom Selleck was gay blew up in the early 90s, something to do with The Globe, where he sued and won. He then was called homophobic so he turned around and played a gay man in a movie. He is currently married to a female (his second or third wife) and he has at least one child, maybe two. He apparently has been quoted to say "you haven't made it until they are making up stories about you."

And, of course, it doesn't matter in the least if people are gay or not, because people are and are not, and it is a naturally re-occurring thing, and gay people can also have children, and science has already proved, about 20-25 years ago that all humans alive today are descended from about 7 common ancestors in Africa.
