Ronan Farrow co-wrote an excellent piece in New Yorker about Britney's life and the conservatorship. Some of the people running things actually get salaries far above what she is allowed to spend. Very eye opening.

You know I wonder if this is from second hand smoke, she was probably on the comedy circuit when smoking was allowed and played in smoky nightclubs.
Just a thought because I know she is really health conscious, doesn't drink, etc.

I wonder if she grew up with smokers? And the comedy circuit certainly would have been smoky for many years.
I think of that because of the 33 years of smoke I lived with (with some time off when I lived in dorms at Berkeley, but even then, second hand smoke was stil prevalent).
And those of us who do wonder about second hand smoke are not able to go and get spiral ct scans.. low cost OR full price.
Kathy was stage 1, which is certainly better than what most face at diagnosis.

Yeah, smoke was unavoidable. Both parents, aunt, uncle, great uncles, cousins,
I saw an interview with Kathy Griffen and it was one lung lobe removed. They found this very easy but obviously will be following her.
She talked of being quite suicidal and the irony of now wanting to live.

In the 80’s, I worked in an office and was surrounded by smokers. I would have chronic bronchitis every year… once they made the building non-smoking, I haven’t had bronchitis since. I’ve often wondered if my lungs were permanently damaged with all the second hand smoke I inhaled.
