LOL! I’m just genuinely having trouble deciding, I enjoy both shows so much!
I love the Amazing Race and it’s my wife’s favourite show. However, I have to go with Survivor. It was the first reality show I ever watched. I was with my oldest DD, who was only a few months old at the time. It’s a very fond memory. Who knew it would still be here and we’d still be enjoying it, forty seasons and twenty years later.

Jimmer has triggered the 8 hour timer to closing the vote. Which means if there are no more votes in the next 8 hours (actually rounded up to when when I next check after 8 hours) I will close the vote and we will have a winner.
Otherwise, the 8 hours will reset with each additional vote cast.
So, it's kind of like soccer. The actual game time is over, but we are in stoppage time. Nobody really knows when it will end and then suddenly it will be over.
Hope we don't have to go to penalty kicks!

Time to tally the votes....
- Amazing Race takes the early lead with a mail in vote by Heckagirl631.
- Survivor answers back with 3 straight challenge victories and a hidden immunity idol to take a 3-1 lead.
- Amazing Race U-Turns Survivor, but Survivor blindsides Amazing Race with a Legacy advantage at tribal to maintain a 2 score lead at 4-2.
- Amazing Race throws a Speed Bump at an unsuspecting survivor and then goes old school with a Fast Forward to get back in the game. Riding this newly found momentum, Amazing Race takes the next leg easily and concludes the 4 vote surge with a second U-Turn on Survivor. With a 6-4 lead, Amazing Race can smell the finish line.
- Unfortunately after 30+ days of competition, Amazing Race also smells the Survivors and loses focus in the final challenges.
- Survivor takes advantage and goes on an epic immunity streak, taking the last 6 votes.

Suggestion for what's next if you want to keep on the theme of voting with match-ups: Vote for winners. You could do just by keeping it to one show at a time to keep it fairly simple. A more time consuming would be to use the match up you did for shows in the previous rounds and pair winners, like from Survivor against Amazing Race. Or against same type of show like American Idol against The Voice or Great British Baking Show against Top Chef. Just a thought.

I like the idea of reality player match-ups. You'd include various well known (and possibly lesser known) reality players. Picking two big names out of a hat, it might be fun to see how Dr. Will would do against Boston Rob. The seeding might be tricky though.
