That was "The Mole", one of the best reality shows of all time. That was such a funny episode too. It wasn't a punishment though (LOL though it was punishing). It was an endurance test.

I do not usually have any songs in my head. But I must say as I read all these posts I sang every one of these jingles.

New Question.... How do you picture time?

I asked my Mom this once and I found it interesting how differently we both picture it. I picture time as a circle, with the winter months scrunched close together, and the warm weather months taking up most of the circle. But my Mom pictures time as a thick wavy ribbon flowing ahead of her to the right.

You picture time??? I don't picture anything, I have no visual imagination (see my aphantasia question from a few months ago) but it never occurred to me that time could be pictured.

I'm guessing you didn't understand the question, Rosie. I didn't ask how you check the time.

Some years fly by but some moments linger. Not visually but emotionally. But I picture life as a roller-coaster.

Time is kind of a blur some days.

I’ve never thought about this but I guess I picture it kind of like a film reel unwinding. I also associate time with the passing of seasons. Though there have been some cool shows and movies recently that have made me think of it differently.

I see it as a wave approaching me. It is slow at first but the closer it gets the faster it comes...then it crashes all around me and then slowly recedes....

I don't really picture time, but if I did it would be in the form of a clock, that really is my only reference.

Time used to be a verrrrrry slowly moving stream. And then it started going by in blinks. Like, if I blink my eyes it will turn out to be a couple months or a couple years later. The blink thing still occurs, but the older I get the more time is a wild blur speeding by, and I can't slow it down ever. I am NEVER bored, and I NEVER have enough time in any given day, because that damned old time keeps on whizzing, and I am always chasing it.

At first I thought that I didn’t, picture time but I do. I picture myself standing on a line. if I look to my left I see my past. Right in front of me is my present. To my right is my future. I am moving along on a conveyor belt into my future.
