And it looks like Canada versus US in women's hockey. I don't watch that but apparently there is some sort of rivalry, LOL.

A major rivalry for sure! I can only imagine how frustrated the U.S. women's team must be. They defeat Canada fairly regularly and they are extremely evenly matched but not at the Olympics. Canada has managed to win four straight gold medals.

AND it is that time......Ice Dancing Free Skate - 20 teams dancing tonight.
French/Canadian team skating for France...I like their lifts and they are really cute. 149.59 points.

Slovakia...Sort, of Cabaret music, oops sloppy twizzles. Now Liza M music. Wow, her tights have backseams...I immediately thought they had drawn them on her legs, LOL.
Nice lifts, cute program, loved the music...missed their points darnit.

Germany...a little too sleeping beauty for me; nice lifts; very pretty....no points shown
South Korea..their costumes are styled along traditional dress. Hmmmm, their lifts looked a bit awkward to me but the crowd loved them. They did a very nice job. Total points 147.74, currently in 3rd place.

Turkey up next...are these costumes supposed to be Egyptian? Guess so the music is sort of that way. Oh it is called Marco Polo by Loreena McKennit and was inspired by Morroco.
Ut oh, a bit of a stumble, and a bit dangerous.

Poland...love their outfits, they look like deep blue velvet! Very nice. Doing a really nice job, nice lift. They had a bunch of different music but was a bit odd.
Japan team...soft, slow, delicate music to start. She had a costume change, to symbolize the cherry blossoms, I like her costume better now.
I still don't get how the skate on the man's thigh doesn't cut him.
Very lovely, but mostly a slow dance. Total points, 160.63

Finally back to the Ice Dancers....came in already skating.
Great Britain....she's the one who shattered her knee. Nice costume for her, he is in black. My they have some interesting lifts.

Wow beautiful twizzles. OMG, they fell, but managed to get up and continue right on with the dance.
IT was really fabulous! So sad that they fell. 175.58 total points, damn their skates seemed like the caught each other!

Second OAR team....her costume seems very prim to me. Nice twizzles, difficult lift. I don't this seems very somber to me.
Her costume made that spin really pretty. Wow upside down spin.
Sort of an odd program and my former judge person says "very, very simple for this level of dance", LOL.

French couple...Very beautiful blue dress for her, with no chance of it falling.
Very polished dancing, nice spins, pretty lift, so nice to watch without the distraction of her dress.
But I like a more zippy program, I was sort of bored, but everyone else likes it.
