TMZ used to have fun teasing her husband. He used to get lots of flack for going out and leaving her at home. This is one 2016 death that I think is a blessing.

Not only that, Tisha, whenever I come across the name "Oliver" I instantly utter it in Eva's unforgettable Hungarian accent and add an exclamation point, ("Oliver!"). I never, ever missed that show! Years ago I worked at a company whose CEO was named Burleigh Arnold. I occasionally answered his phone when his secretary was out. Sometimes I'd return calls on his behalf and whenever anybody asked "And his last name is Arnold?", I'd reply "Yes, like Arnold the Pig." Most people "got" the reference, but a few puzzled people would ask, "What? He's a pig?" And then I'd have to explain that Arnold the Pig was a character on an old TV show from the 1960s.

My wife and I sang the Green Acres theme song one day in the car (I'm not sure what prompted it). Our DD's laughed themselves silly over us. They probably thought we'd gone crazy. Love the Arnold the pig references.

Pamy, I don't think he did, no. But he had such a good sense of humor that even if someone told him, he would've thought it was funny. I definitely made the people who sat near me laugh every time I used the ATP reference.

Cindy Stowell was a true champion in more ways than one. I watched her play. One would never have known her background or the health problems she dealt with during the filming. http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/video/jeopardy-winner-cindy-stowell-dies-episodes-aired-44357375 http://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/21/us/-jeopardy-cindy-stowell-death.html?_r=0

Dipo, I took her brother's comment to mean she was out of the 'emergency room' and probably moved to cardiac ICU.

She is in ICU http://people.com/movies/carrie-fisher-london-before-heart-attack/ Todd Fisher, the actress’ brother, told the Associated Press that his sister was “out of emergency” and stabilized at a Los Angeles hospital, but declined to offer further details. He later told Entertainment Tonight that Carrie’s condition is still unknown. “She is in the intensive care unit, she is being well looked after,” he said. “If everyone could just pray for her that would be good. The doctors are doing their thing and we don’t want to bug them. We are waiting by patiently.” Adding, “We don’t know. We hope for the best. We certainly do not know her condition, that’s why she is in ICU. I’m sure everyone wants to speculate, but now is not the time for that.”
