I have it on because there's nothing else on. It seems like an enjoyable show. Harry Potter singing and dancing blew my mind. Who knew?!

And the South Park guys won a Tony? WTH? I'm so lost! LOL! Yes Christie Brinkley looked like she was trying too hard.

Wow, who knew Daniel Radcliffe could sing & dance like that. Enjoyed finding the best of the acts (and NPH) on You Tube this evening.

I posted in the film section, but I'm going to post here, too. Tomorrow, a very limited run engagement of Stephen Sondheim's groundbreaking, legendary musical Company will be released. It's the musical that gave us Send in the Clowns, if that helps, and I'm Not Getting Married Today. Anyhow, it stars Neil Patrick Harris, Patti LuPone, Stephen Colbert, Martha Plimpton, Cohn Cryer, and a bunch of big Broadway names. It was filmed in the spring during a Lincoln Center production of the musical and, because the cast and score are so strong, I can't imagine that it would be anything other than exceptional. Is it playing in your area? Glad you asked. Look Here. Tickets will be somewhat more expensive than regular film tickets, but only a fraction of a theatre ticket.

Rock of Ages -- anyone seen it? I'm kid free and tempted to get a cheap seat and go see it Friday night.

I haven't, but I fully intend to when it comes within 100 miles of here this summer! A friend saw it in Boston and LOVED it! She said there is a lot of audience interaction, everyone sings along (it IS 80s music, after all), and she had a blast. I'd say GO!

I'm torn. Thanks for the input. I'm sure I'd enjoy it, it's just a matter of whether I want to lay out the $$$ to go! I was hoping to find a promo code or deal, but there doesn't seem to be any in spite of what looks like weak ticket sales. I did love Constatine on Idol.

Brenda, they MIGHT have rush seats available about half an hour before the show for less than full price. Phone and ask them.

I called and only students, seniors and military get a last minute discount. Bummer! I went ahead and bought a cheap seat. So, I should have a show review after tonight.

Saw the concert version of Company today - and it was so much fun! Loved it! If you can get tickets to see it the 21st, I highly recommend it!

Thumbs up for Rock of Ages if you are a Constantine fan and came of age in the 80's. If not, you might just think it was silly. I was a huge Constantine fan on Idol. Was heartbroken when he left. Love his hair-band-screaming voice. Fun show - enjoyed myself immensely.

This saturday is the broadway cares Flea market - a great chance to bid on walk on roles (expensive), autographs and photos with stars (moderate) and great deals on old show stuff (cheap) I love it, it is on 44th street next to Juniors.
