You're so lucky Supergranny! Our library has a waiting list of over 150, and I have to wait until Friday to run out to buy it! Ugh, I don't know if I can wait anymore!
Re: the movie release. I read somewhere, that they moved the release of the movie because they didn't want to compete with the other movies that were also going to be released in July. I can't remember which one, but for some reason, I want to say that it was supposed to come out on the same week as a new Brad Pitt movie? Sorry, I wish I could remember more of the reason.

Janet Evanovich was just on the Today Show. She calls her new book the sex book. Stephanie is being pushed by her mother and Morelli's grandmother to make a decision and settle down. Janet E has been told the movie should be out in January.

I was about number 600 on the library waiting list for Smokin' Seventeen. But our library system has several books of each popular book called "This is your lucky day" book that can't have a hold on them. Seeing as how my DD is a librarian she can snag the goodies as they come across her desk.
Well, Lula was at her best in this book. Also, at the end of the book it says #18 is due out in November. Yay!

I've found audiobooks are usually the quickest get when there is a waiting list at the library. I usually get in line for each, and generally the audio wins out.
I thought 17 was cute. And I still like Ranger best!

I watched the trailer several times. Woo-hoo! I am beyond excited! I agree though about the casting of Stephanie - not really feeling it. I think Joe and Lula were great. Can't wait for the movie. I think it would be an awesome t.v. series.

I like the Ranger casting as well.
I just read her book about Diesel - Wicked Appetite. I never read any other books about this character. It was very funny

OMG, that trailer was fabulous!!! I loved everyone. At first I wasn't sure I was going to like any of the people cast, but it seems to work.

Just watched the trailer. Genius casting of Debbie Reynolds. I'm not feeling Ranger at all, he looks too small. I love Joe and Lula, think they hit it on the mark.

I'm on board...especially with Lula and Ranger. I'm still not sure about the rest of the cast. Grandma is too glam...I always have pictured her as Sophia from Golden Girls.

Love the silliness of the books. They are the only books that have constantly caused me to laugh out loud. Lula is a pistol! She's always wanting to 'shoot the sucker'.

Who is going to go see the movie tomorrow? I have to see if it is going to come out in any of the theaters down here. If I can't find it around I swear I am going to break the law and find it on the internet...cannot wait for a dvd!!
