I like it much better. I think it sparks more curiosity as to what happens as well.

Guys, Just wanted to pass this on, I'm so excited for Ladybug. "Good news! I just learned "Call Me Tuesday" is a finalist in the Reader's Favorite Book Awards! What a blessing! The winners will be announced in September. But I'm just glad to be a finalist! There will be an awards ceremony in Miami in November. Not sure yet if I'm going. It could be fun, though. I might even get to meet Henry Winkler, or Eriq La Salle from E.R.--I noticed they were finalists too." Here's the link, just scroll down to Fiction - Realistic. Reader's Favorite

It continues the story that began in "Call Me Tuesday" and allows you to see how the abuse colored her adult life. It can be read as a stand alone book but you will understand some of the references better if you've read "Call Me Tuesday" first. Call Me Tuesday Call Me Cockroach

I got the second book today.. it was listed on one of the emails I get.. I read the first one back when we first could get it on amazon. I've been spending my settlement, too. I got $48 and change. Not that much left, though.

I thought I would make a recommendation here. A friend has written a novella and it is available on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Sophie-Jane-Time-Traveling-Adventures-Village-ebook/dp/B00PDZH8O8/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1416523244&sr=1-1&keywords=M.+R.+Wiggins Sea, you remember meeting her? She and I met you for dinner back in 2005 at a convention. ehehe I hope that some of you might be interested in a little light reading. It is available on Kindle.

Hmm a bit pricey for something so short.. but it is part of Kindle Unlimited, so I put it on my wish list for when I go on Kindle Unlimited.

Yep, Redhead. ehehe I don't know how they decide on the prices. It says $2.99. Is that high? Anyway, I hope that you enjoy it when ever you get it. It kind of ties in with Thanksgiving.

Has anyone read Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files series? I'm wondering if it's any good?

Can anybody suggest something relatively recent, (5 years or less), that would give me a chill if I read it while home alone at night? No sci-fi please. Ghosts or very scary murder mystery. (I'm not home alone at night, but down in the rec room with the lights down, it feels like it)

NO help from me, I avoid those books. Steven King books made me feel that way so I had to stop reading them, LOL.

Dean Koontz would do that for me Naja. I haven't read any of his recently, but he did have a new one out last year.

I got myself burned out on Koontz in the 2000's. I decided to try out Stephen King's son, Joe Hill. "The Heart Shaped Box"

The Man in the Moss by Phil Rickman...it's not horror, but it's supernatural and convoluted and intriguing.
