Oh, so that was Lavar Burton! Man that was hilarious. Didn't know if I'd get to watch it, 'cos sometimes they want you to sign in for FB stuff and I've never joined. *Sigh*....ahhhh...what a wonderful way to start the day, with a big smile on your face, 'cos it's still there...lol.

Someone retweeted this today and I have to pass it on for the sake of the book.
quote:RHUL Library @RHUL_Library Loyal followers. We bring sad news. As part of our research into the Top 5 Most Borrowed Books 2019 we found that one book hadn't been borrowed for a very long time. It's just been there, collecting dust, staring out the window at other books achieving their book destiny.
Link to the thread And the replies are a wonderful read, too.

Pretty funny! Pride and Prejudice can either be a delight or monumentally frustrating, depending on what you are looking for in a book (I thought it was wonderful). Itβs funny how some classics arenβt always recognized at first. Slightly off topic, but one of the things I admired about Roger Ebert (the movie reviewer) was his willingness to go back and reevaluate his reviews if he saw that the movie had gone on to receive some acclaim.
