I saw it this morning at midnight:01. Of course, you gotta like Julia to like the movie. (I do.) But there's also James and Javier. (I do. I do.) Scenery, locations, settings are beautiful. Though I've had the book for some time, I haven't read it. KInd of a self help book? In a way? Wondered how that would come through in a movie. It does. Good music in the movie to. Strange -- I can only find soundtrack at Barnes & Noble and iTunes. Not even at Amazon??? All in all, I loved the movie. Am already anxious for DVD.

DVD of the movie will be released this Tuesday. I have it! I pre-ordered it from Amazon. I have Amazon Prime. Got shipping notice yesterday that it would be delivered by Ensenda (?). Ensenda has tracking. Their site said it would be delivered tomorrow / Sunday. Sunday?! It came today -- three days before release.

I'm reading Eat, Pray, Love and would like to see the movie with Julia Roberts to see how she managed to be just like the writer and how she speaks Italian. The writer in the book is 34 but I think Julia Roberts is a bit too old for the role but I'll wait and see for myself. I found myself laughing out aloud a few times while reading, (she can be funny) inspite of moments of deep depression (it's something I couldn't understand, one cannot suffer such a depression while seeking and loving company so much, and her sunny disposition towards people she befriends so easily) but I guess at moments of loneliness and depression could creep up on us inspite of our searching for happiness). Being an Italian I simply loved the way she understood my language, the nuances and dialects and their meaning and even though to me the Italian words were no big deal I admired the way she understood them and translated them in English in all their meanings. Also, how she described parts of Rome (I felt I was back in there) and other cities like Naples and especially Venice (she should have gone there during the summer and not winter) I don't know what she's going to be doing in India if she loved Italy so much and I guess that's the "pray" part, which I'm not really looking forward so much, I just want to see what she will be praying about. The Love part will be in Indonesia I guess...
