Sisalou, I really enjoyed Australia, but we watched it from the comfort of our sofa with the ability to put the film on pause for pee breaks etc. I have a bad back & arthritis and suffer a lot when I sit for too long in the theatre chairs.

Star Trek was excellent! I didn't expect so much humour in it. Great movie.

Angels and Demons - good, but not as suspenseful as the book

Terminator: Salvation - much better than I thought it would be. A lot of action but it didn't spoil it too much. Well paced. Night at the Museum 2 - bit slow at the beginning. Enjoyable but only half as good as the first one.

In a million years I never thought I would enjoy something called "Kung Fu Panda", let alone something animated called that, but it came to cable this past weekend and I LOVED it!

I saw that on the schedule this week, Naja, wondered if I should give it a try and thought Pandas doing Kung Fu - "nah.." Maybe I'll watch if I see it again!

"TAKEN" excellent movie, lots of action. Liam Nelson is superb. Reminded me of the movie with Sally Fields, "An Eye for An Eye".

Kitt, you know what made me watch it? I looked it up on rottentomatoes.com and they gave it 89%. That's really a good score for an animated movie. It's the same score Shrek and Shrek 2 got, and I loved those, too.

Just watched Taken and agree...excellent and Liam was terrific in this action packed movie. He made the fights look very believable and he was simply slamming in them. You could feel his fury come through the screen. He really is an excellent actor.

I just watched Taken and was disappointed. Didn't feel on the edge of my seat. Didn't feel there was anything new -- seemed very formula. Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood.

Isn't it strange, Brenda, how our own state at the time can affect our response to movies. I started watching Taken thinking I'd give it 30 minutes and then move on if it was too much "action" movie, superman-hero-type stuff. And while it did have a healthy helping of that formula, somehow Liam came across as SO real in response to what was happening to his daughter, I could buy it. Maybe we hyped it up so much that you felt disappointed? I've just never seen him play such a physical role so was very pleasantly surprised.

Kitt, on the flipside, I just watched finally "Wall-E" this weekend thinking I would love it, and thought it was pretty lame.
