I just saw the trailer for Evil Dead Rise and it looks so scary! Comes out April 27 in theatres.

It will probably be a few months before it's streaming someplace.

Can I just vent a minute? I have seen two commercials for the new Exorcist movie already and it's not even out yet. Those movies terrify me, all of them. I have never seen any, although I've seen enough to know, I DON'T WANT TO SEE THEM!

I can't wait! My new tenant loves scary movies, so now I have someone to see it with. What's funny is she is preparing to be a nun, and at the drive-in we saw "The Nun 2" about the possessed killer nun. hahaha! We saw "The Meg 2" as well since it was a double feature.

It's funny. Last Halloween season, Buzzr tv had Halloween themed shows on. Linda Blair was on one of their shows as a guest. They said she was only 14 when she did that movie. Someone asked her if she knew what she was getting into? She said well, yes, she read the script in order to audition, but she said she had read the book, too.

Naja, if you have hulu you should be on the lookout for some new hulu offerings that look scary! I think they were "coming soon". I didn't catch the names, but there were at least two that I saw previews for when I was watching Hulu last night. Spooky!

Me too Hecka. I went to see The Exorcist without my parents permission when I was 14. My friend and I were going to walk home afterwards but left early bc we were too scared. I had to call my Dad to come get me, I got grounded for a week. Then I attempted to watch it again in college and couldn’t get through it.

I just saw the newest Saw movie "Saw X" and it was a LOT better than some of the others. The story wasn't complicated and was easy to follow. Of course it had all the blood and gore you'd expect.

This time, Jigsaw (John Kramer) has only a few months to live, but he finds out about new cancer treatment in another country that could save his life. Things don't go as planned and that's all I want to say.

And a kind of fun low budget scary movie I just saw is "Circle City Supernatural".
It's about a radio call in show where people tell their true scary stories. Of course the stories are told through video. The stories are pretty good. Not bloody at all.

I just saw "Run Rabbit Run (2023)" on Netflix.

I loved it!

It stars Sarah Snook from "Succession" as a single mom with a daughter named Mia. One day the daughter starts saying her name is Alice, and not to call her Mia. Alice was the name of Sarah Snook's sister that went missing many years ago when she seven. Mia was never told about her! Dark secrets start to unravel.
