Darn I missed the K joke, what was it? And can some one tell me what is theme? I missed the beginning but it seems they are singing a lot of songs (that aren't nominated) so I am not sure what the theme is.

They seem to be talking about a lot of films that are not nominated and now they are singing a song from Chicago. Why? Did I miss something?

Glad Russell Crowe came on and did his part for Les Mis - he's been the odd-man out in all the talk about the movie. I wish someone would talk sense to Travolta about his hair.

Yeah, the crowd was very receptive when he started singing.

Hathaway's win made me yawn (although I like her just fine). I would have liked to see Helen Hunt win. I don't think there's any way they'd have given Sally Field a third Oscar.

Was Skyfall the only nominated song that was sung?

Adele looks beautiful. Glad I got to see/hear her sing. That's pretty much it for me. Time for bed. 4:00 AM comes early and I might have to get up earlier than that depending on when this damn snow stops falling. Enjoy the rest of the show!

JCP is really trying to save the company from going out of business. Lots of good commercials trying to get the young gen to stop thinking of it as a Sears. Out here ours even has a Sephora in it!

I know that Kristen Stewart doesn't like this kind of event, but she's an actress and should, at least, try to act like she's enjoying it.

Speaking of Javier Bardem, I'm so annoyed he wasn't nominated for his turn as the Bond bad guy. He was so great in that movie.

Streisand was exquisite. Between her and Adele, the show is not a total write-off, so far anyways.

So, it was the tribute to Marvin Hamlish that got her to sing in public. It's so rare that she does sing in public, let alone on national tv. She was excellent.
