Saw "Hotel Transylvania", it was funny and entertaining. Got me in the Halloween mood. :-)

Enjoyed "Trouble with the Curve" - grew up with a dad that loved baseball.

I enjoyed Trouble with the Curve as well although it took half the movie for me to not want to strangle Eastwood every time he spoke. It's almost like he is doing a caricature of his own voice now. Why does he has to talk like that whenever he has a camera on him?

I saw "Fun Size" today. If you are bored to death and have absolutely nothing else to do AND want to see a Halloween-themed movie that isn't gory, than go see it. Otherwise, buy another sack of goodies for the treat-or-treaters -

My daughter and I just watched "Safety Not Guaranteed" with Mark Duplass, Jake Johnson and Aubrey Plaza. Loved it! It is a very sweet, quirky movie and the ending left us picking our own ending, in a good way.

We saw Argo this week. Even though I knew the outcome, my heart was racing!

We also saw The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Loved it! Pretty close to the book and the casting of Ezra Miller as Patrick was spot on.

Tntitanfan, why oh why, did I not have an English teacher that looked like Paul Rudd?

I had a psych professor that was as cute as Paul Rudd. Needless to say, I took a lot of psychology classes. :-)

I never had a teacher - HS or college - that I even came close to having a crush on!

Too bad Titan! Makes school more fun. My highschool photo teacher was so good looking, like a gentle Al Pachino in Serpico. Yum. I took photo 1 and 2. :-)

I never had any crush-worthy teachers either. I did have a picture of Al Pacino as Serpico on my wall when I was in high school :-)

Don't see "Flight" if you are getting on a plane soon. It's very different from the trailers, more about the pilot's personal journey with addiction. But when this flight I'm on today (Monday) hit some turbulance, I was just a little nervous. I saw the movie on Saturday night.

I'm looking forward to it as well. I'm so happy it appears that they did a good job with it.

If you get the chance, be sure to see Ken Burns' documentary The Central Park Five, about the "wilding" by a "wolf pack" of young African American men who were convicted of gang raping a jogger in Central Park in 1989. They didn't do it, of course, and had their convictions overturned, but they still managed to serve 9 years in prison.

Surprised there wasn't a Twilight thread here. Just saw the latest. It was sooooo slow, I only enjoyed the last 30min

I heard that it was getting better reviews than the other four movies. Have you seen them? How does it compare?

I confess that I've seen all of the movies (except this last one) and I've also read all of the books (my DD and her friends were quite into them and I wanted to know what it was all about). I haven't seen this one yet but the previous movies were so low key and Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's performances were mind numbingly restrained.

I have seen them all. I feel they could have had the main (exciting) plot points from this part2 in the part 1...I think they stretched thingsw out to make more money.

I did enjoy the last 30 mins and loved how they did the credits at the end of the movie. I dont think this needs to be seen on big screen though

Thanks Pamy, There are so many excellent films out right now, that I'm paring them down by which ones I can wait to show up on the Movie Channel. Guess this is one of them. :-) And since I saw the first part of this on TV I can see the second part on TV too. :-)
