Sunshyne4u, thanks. I'm sure that is where I have seen Donnie's wife before. Don't watch soaps, so probably L&O or Third Watch, which was one of my favorite shows.

I thought they would have restrained the guy too. What a nutter. Also, the way the mother was holding the detonator, it was so annoying that he didn't just reach in and grab it.

I too love this show, I was wondering when the youngest son would get another call from the secret society. He did almost at the end last week, he should ask Donnie to explain it to him.

Caught up on this show now. Am really starting to enjoy it, mostly because of Donnie Whalberg's character. I like the grandpa too.

Their dinners are often very stressful, too. This is a very good show.

For some families, Sunday dinner together is a tradition. It makes perfect sense.

I enjoy the dinners. A big family dinner once a week is great. I'd like to think that some families still do it. I really like this show.

The dinners are Sundays only. Each show appears to encompass 1 week, culminating in the dinner. They seem to all look forward to it, but the discussions ultimately lead to conflict. I think it's a great device, and very unique in today's TV. If this show lasts for 3 or more seasons, Erin's daughter is going to be a focal point of serious conflict.

Thanks, I wonder why my DVR didn't tape it.

We have our Tivo set up so that it only tapes "new" episodes, not repeats - any chance that is how the DVR is set up, too?

I didn't know if I'd like this show, but now I'm hooked. I like all the characters and the interaction between the family members.

I'm hooked as well. The youngest Regan reminds of Ben Sheridan from Southland. I wonder where the whole Blue Templar thing will go. It intrigues me.

Yes, they remind me of each other too! I was flipping by Southlands last night and had to stop and think "is that the same guy?!" I love both shows. I probably like Southlands a bit better. Hope both are around for a while!

Blue Bloods is now on Wednesdays. Tom Selleck is so great in this role, it's unbelievable. I've developed a crush on the Commissioner's assistant. Don't even know her name, but I love that buttoned up librarian look she throws down.

I enjoy the show as well. They were filming on our block all week near the office. We were told to ignore the sounds of fake gunfire in front of Delmonicos. Selleck, et all were hanging out in the coffee shop. Pretty friendly people.

I really like this show, but I thought last nights show was pretty far-fetched.

Don't much care for Selleck, so I was prepared to not like this show. It's turned out to be much more of an ensemble show than a "Selleck" show and is very good. Serves me right, I guess.

I have always like Tom, but will admit I don't like his mustache.
