Regarding all the speculation about whether or not Stana Katic is pregnant, keep in mind that the episodes we are watching now were likely filmed a few months ago! If she was actually preggers a few months ago, she'd probably be showing way too much to hide it now and it would be in the tabloids or ET. Sanfranjoshfan....you are sooo right! DUH! I was in a book store yesterday and saw the book "Nikki Heat" it had the actor who plays Richard Castle on the jacket as the author. I got very confused and then googled it all and got the scoop.

Reenie, there have been two Richard Castle book releases so far: "Heat Wave" and "Naked Heat." Great tie-in for the show. Obviously ghost-written. SFJF, I wouldn't necessarily agree. There have been characters on TV shows before who were pregnant and I never knew till I read it somewhere later on that they'd given birth. Sometimes I just miss things.

Auntiemike, I'm with you. Every time they have an "intimate moment," I'm all, "NO!!! He belongs with Beckett!!!" They're just trying to build sexual tension, just like Beckett and her Dr. McWhatever. They did have their moments this week, though. DH caught when Castle's mom said, "True love gets you out of jail," and then Beckett told Castle, "Don't worry, Castle. I'd get you out." The tension is there!

I can't stand the ex-wife either. She's an EX for a reason! Those reasons don't change and her disregard for asking Castle about things dealing with his daughter then getting all huffy about it is a problem waiting to explode.

I do not think she showed disregard for buying her daughter tickets. Just like HE bought his daughter tickets. Even he seemed to realize he was just being huffy.

No, not her mom. He's been married a couple/few times.

She is his agent/editor? And former wife, but not Alexis's mom. Alexis's mom was introduced in one episode previously, and played by Darby Stanchfield, a redhead. She was portrayed as a lovable, but flaky and immature woman. Gina is a professional woman. She'd be pretty perfect for Castle if not for the existence of Kate. This'll probably play out all season long.

Christy, I said she showed disregard because she got tickets to a major event for a minor female to go with her minor boyfriend, unescorted, and had no idea if Alexis' father was even going to allow her to go. Castle may have already had plans for the concert (like having bought tickets already), or he may have had a good reason why Alexis couldn't go. When planning something for someone else's kid, you ask them first. I find it extremely presumptuous of her.

I'm with Shel. It'd be different if she was Alexis' mother, but she's not. No responsible adult would do that without asking the parent first.

Well she was her step-Mom so maybe that makes the relationship slightly different. Plus she may have already known that her going was okay with Castle if they could get tickets. I can't remember if they talked about it. Castle wasn't upset at all about her going. He was just upset that she had stolen his thunder. I like what the writers are doing here. As great as it would be for Castle and Beckett to get together as a couple, it's not in the interest of the longevity of the series.

It was probably something she had discussed with the Grandmother, since they had all been out together. But I agree that she should have run it by the father first.

Cool episode tonight. A serial killer who outsmarted the cops, but was eventually figured out by Castle. And don't miss the line from Beckett that she was truly thankful that Castle wasn't hurt. It's a true romance. Probably won't be realized for a few years, though.

But raise your hand if you knew the secret admirer was the boyfriend? That was such a throwaway plot.

Costacat...I think they threw in the "secret admirer" issue to add to the suspense of the plot due to the other plot line of girls being murdered. At one point, I was very concerned for her to go meet a stranger at "Strawberry Fields" by herself. I thought that was crazy!! PLUS, why would the bf do that? Didn't it annoy him that she was willing to go meet a stranger w/o telling him about it???? Just my thoughts:-)

Reenie...I thought the same thing. That's just a guy setting up his girl to fail. A guy playing games (shocker!). I'd want to drop him faster than a hot potato.
