Loved the episode. It was worth the wait. Angie sending dog poop off for dna testing made me giggle. Do luxury communities really do that?!

A very good episode tonight. Gave a lot of background on Faith’s relationship with her mother. The best part was when Will handed Betty to Faith… because she helps him. Faith reluctantly took Betty, Betty did her thing as Faith hugged her.

It’s SOOO obvious it’s the brother in law…why did they have to put the nurse in danger. And drag this out….

I thought that the minute that I saw the brother in law. I have to say in reading the books, I always could figure out who the culprit was pretty early in the story. But, I did like the story, just not an Angie fan, at all.

I have tried several times to get into this show, and I even lived long enough in the deep South of the USA to be able to know and love the ways and accents, but it is just not "taking" with me. Does anybody have any tips for me?

Legal, ITA! as soon as we saw the bro in law we said it's him! so obvious! I also HATE they are shoving the relationship with the DA down our throats! They have ZERO chemistry! Her role is boring. I also hate the teenager!! I feel the show jumped the shark this year! so irritated!

1) There is no agony when watching Will Trent ... but i get that not every human being likes all the same things. 2) I am enjoying this season still, especially the last two episodes. I still want Will and Angie back together but also enjoy seeing Gina Rodriguez on screen - I saw chemistry in the first episode and am fine to see where that relationship goes this season - as long as the two very neglected and traumatized childhood soul mates get back together at some point. I am also loving the Rafael character just being them as this gangster, loving, queer, individual that is treated like any of character that has a history with Will - and so can live with their daughter being on the show just so we keep seeing more of them. I am so happy this is taking place in South Carolina so that we really can embrace all the bonds Will has with so many people from childhood. Not saying it wouldn't happen in a big metropolis like NYC or Chicago, but even if in a city it's easy to feel that small town vibes when you are in places like the South. And that is why i enjoy all the tangled connections between these characters, including Amanda and Faith. I also like Michael, as Angie's partner and his side story dealing with his family since every person has a full life going on. I dont know why but between Quantico and this show, there is just something nice about Jake McLaughlin playing decent white male characters who are just normal human beings. And Betty is just, well... perfection.

I dont hate it just disappointed in it. Betty is perfection! I read article about them not hving him with angie and that made me sad. I like them together. I figure they will have her get together with her partner

It gives me anxiety, but I still enjoy the show. The previous episode when they kidnapped the old lady was outstanding and Emmy-worthy. IMHO

I think I just started too late with trying to watch this series. There must be a lot of back-story I know nothing about. I have no idea who any of the characters Legal mentioned are. Guessing it is like This Is Us that I caught up on during the pandemic - you had to watch the whole thing starting with the very first episode and go through the seasons.

Totally need to start from beginning. The backstory IS the story with this series.

Yes, the backstory is the thing here, although in the 3rd season, it’s moving a bit away from it. I’ve read the books years ago, so was all in when the series started. Karin Slaughter books are not heavy reading. I didn’t need to come up to speed with the backstory. Plus, the guy who plays Will Trent is a cutie.

Yeah, I just started watching last season, and there is a lot that is confusing. But I really don't want to go back and watch from the beginning.

Okay, clearly, I was wrong about the killer. Nice twist. This is a pretty intense episode. Somehow, I missed why there was a mariachi band in the police station during the blackout. I like that we are seeing more of the supporting cast… the morgue doctor who didn’t want to operate on a live person, the captain and police man who have not had many lines in prior seasons. This episode flushed out details about other characters, which was fun.

At the end, I was yelling flashlight, as soon as I saw the killer was wearing night goggles. Guess I’ve watched too many murder mysteries.
