People in my condo association got me started reading the C.J. Box series of books: https://www.bookseriesinorder.com/c-j-box/ And I had NO idea until I just googled for a link that there were that many. I have only read about 5-6 of the books, and Sheridan is already an adult in the ones I have read.
So, anyway. go to cbs.com or paramount.com, or paramountplus.com and start watching Joe Pickett. It is intense, but fairly gripping. And, for the readers here, also start reading the C.J. Box books.

I've just found this show, and it's so good. The characters feel so real and the storyline is very watchable. Too bad theres only 2 seasons on Prime

I watched the July 16 episode tonight on Paramount-Plus. As usual the storyline was gripping and the final scene absolutely harrowing. I may just go back and watch it again from the start when this season ends.
