I loved the first season but this show is really suffering the sophomore blues. They had a fantastic story arc ending with the Dad’s emotional passing and now they don’t seem to know what to do next. They’re floundering.

It always confuses (and surprises) me when they refer to Mo as "he". I guess it's his preference, but it's unexpected.

Okay, after my previous comment, I have to say the most recent episode was very good. I loved the little mystery twist of who was singing what song. Plus the performances were great. Fun episode!

For a minute I thought when the Therapy patients sung to Zoey, it was some medical drama cameo extravaganza or something. The patient to the left as we looked at Zoey was Dr Wolke from the Good Doctor, and for a minute I thought the girl on her right was Dr Reznick, the mean one. But actually the girl on the right was the girl who played Kitty in Glee, who is quite similar.
Funny for a regular on an ABC show to guest on an NBC one.

I saw a commercial that this show will be a marathon on Memorial Day weekend, I think on E.
Don't know if it will be both seasons, but thought some might want to watch.

So fun to watch the whole thing, although I think I slept thru a few of season 2 episodes in the early morning.
I hope they get renewed. I think there is more to say, but .... I did wonder how much it cost to get the rights for all the great songs they use in the show.
