I really loved the Pilot and the 2nd episode. This is a good and funny show that really makes me smile.

I'm old enough to have been a fan of the ancient tv series The Ghost and Mrs. Muir so I knew instantly that I would like this. I love that there's a 2nd set of ghosts in the basement.

I loved it!
For anybody interested, it's about a young couple that inherits an old haunted mansion. After the wife takes a bad tumble down the big staircase, she is able to see and communicate with ghosts. And those ghosts are a bunch of whacky characters.
The scene with her doctor was so funny!

I watched it last night and was entertained. It made me laugh but I missed the part where she decided she wasn't crazy. I came in when she was meeting with the ghosts to see what they wanted.
It was funny and cute, I can use a lighthearted show for a change.

There's a UK version of Ghosts that is almost identical to this US version. Three seasons so far (I think), but I only see season 1 at HBOMAX.
In the UK version, there's no native American ghost....but there is a cavemen ghost. Arrow-neck guy is there, as is the black lady ghost and the the headless guy....and the group of cellar ghosts that died from a plague.

That's another interesting and necessary change about the cellar ghosts. In the US version they died from cholera.

Kar, it's listed as just ep 1. Each show is 30 minutes long, and that one listed is an hour long.

In the middle of that 1 hour episode, you see the transition to ep 2. It's ep 1 and 2 put together.

I'm a little disappointed to hear it isn't an hour. There have been some half-hour comedies that I've thoroughly enjoyed but I've generally watched them on demand after the series has been completed. I just find a half-hour a week to short and drawn out.

I watched and enjoyed it. I don't usually do sitcoms, but this one was cute. It does remind me of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (RIP, Hope Lange).

Jimmer - Uh oh, I don't want to burst your bubble, but it sounds like you don't yet know that, not only is this a half hour show, but there are only 6 episodes in season 1 (just like the UK version).

LOL ouch!!! I'm still going going to try to watch this one though. I've enjoyed so many comedies, after the fact, that I didn't watch during their first run.

only 6 eps and we already have seen 2 since ep1 was really 2 30 min eps
I may just let the other 4 eps pile up and watch them as a 2 hr movie

I don't watch many sitcoms. I would like to...but most of them are just too silly for me. I saw the previews for this show and thought I would try it. I found it very enjoyable. Its a nice little mental vacation. I appreciate being able to watch a show that just wants to make me laugh, and isn't trying to educate me on some controversial world situation.

American shows that air on Network TV almost never just stop at 6 episodes. There's gotta be a bigger plan. I'll watch them and hope that they come to their senses and produce more.

There were 13 episodes ordered for this season, and I imagine if it does well it will be extended out to 20ish.
If imdb only has six episodes, it's probably just that they're the only summaries released to the press so far.

I enjoyed the first two episodes, but the third episode reverted to silly, predictable typical sitcom stuff. Not sure I can hang in there. I'll give it one more try.
