I will try to watch either tonight or Thursday night. You know how I tend to over-scrutinize everything that is "set in New Orleans." The last TV show which was set in New Orleans (Filthy Rich) didn't make it past week two on my DVR.

I'm going to start this series tonight. Free from "Crackle" and released today in the US, but it came out in 2018 in a few other countries. Insomnia (Action/Drama) From IMDB: Insomnia is an illegal game, a costly entertainment, that is held once a year in an exclusive casino where only rich and powerful play. Bets have been placed - the game has begun. https://www.crackle.com/watch/7300

Kitt, thanks for that Calendar. I looked at it and the first think I noticed was that "American Gods, season 3 starts in Jan 10! Yay!

Did anybody watch the premiere of Call Me Kat on Fox tonight? It's about a girl who runs a cat cafe, starring Mayim Bialik. It was pretty good, but OMG! If Swoosie Kurtz tries to stretch her face smooth one more time, it's just going to disintegrate. She actually looked a bit scary.

I had been looking forward to Call Me Kat as I really enjoyed Miranda. My first impression is that Mayim Bialik is trying too hard and hasn't quite mastered the character or the 4th wall breakaways thus falling a bit short. It is, however, early days and has time to find good a footing. Leslie Jordan is always the same character, nevertheless, a hoot to watch. I agree with Naja re Swoosie Kurtz. It is almost painful to look at Swoosie's tight face. I much preferred Call Me Kat to the dull and trite B Positive as far as new comedies this season.

Leslie is a hoot and I am so glad he is on this show. I agree she did seem to be overacting but hopefully she will settle in to the role. B Postive would be better with a different leading man. I am enjoying the girl lead though

I just watched the most insane show. And I loved it! It was all in subtitles, but it was so good I didn't care. HBO "30 Coins" It takes place in a small Spanish town where a Priest is trying to hide from something. Ever since the priest moved in, scary and strange things have started happening in the town, the first of which is a human looking baby is born from a cow. It gets violent and bloody at times. The 3 main characters are the priest, Alena the local gorgeous veterinarian, and the handsome Mayor Paco. And I'm pretty sure the whole thing revolves around the devil wanting its coins back. Two eps aired tonight and second one is recording now. I'm saving it for tomorrow.

I have been watching B Positive, and it is cute. I don't mind the male lead, although it took me a bit to learn to like him. Blonde reminds me of Suzanne Somers, Three's Company.

Blonde in B Positive reminded me a bit of Golfie Hawn in Butterlies Are Free, especially in the bus scene. I believe the doctor from The Love Boat was one of her elderly passengers.

I was looking forward to Mr Mayor, because I like Ted Danson. But, i couldn’t make it 10 minutes. I think the timing of this type of show is not good, based on current events. I might try again, but now it doesn’t appeal to me.

DH and I have been enjoying this new series on Crackle. Crackle is always free. This year, on the tenth anniversary of the game, twenty contestants must kill or be killed on the streets of Moscow...until there is one winner left standing. This Canadian import seems seems promising. Only the first episode has aired so far in the U.S. and I liked it. Trickster on CW Jared (Joel Oulette) is an Indigenous teen struggling to keep his dysfunctional family above water. Jared holds down an after-school job and cooks ecstasy on the side to support his separated parents: partying mom Maggie (Crystle Lightning), who self-medicates an undiagnosed mental illness, and unemployable dad Phil (Craig Lauzon), who has a painkiller addiction and a new girlfriend. But when Jared starts seeing strange things – talking ravens, doppelgängers, skin monsters – his already chaotic life is turned upside down. At first, he thinks he’s losing his mind, but to his relief, and terror, the supernatural events surrounding him are all too real. There is more than meets the eye to the place Jared grew up, the people he loves – and to Jared himself. https://cwtvpr.com/the-cw/shows/trickster/about

And another very good one! Coyote on CBS All-Access CBS's description is horrible. So I'll give a quick one. It stars Michael Chiklis as a close to retirement border agent that decides to break the rules just once to help a pregnant girl across the border that was being beaten. Well, he helped the wrong girl get away and now the cartel knows who he is, and he has to pay....All 6 episodes are up. https://www.cbs.com/shows/coyote/

Yes, Dipo, she is! I had just recently watched the movie with Denzel Washington so I am looking forward to how they handle this. I think she will do great. And Alan Tudyk is going to be The Resident Alien coming to SYFY on January 27th - Can't wait!!

Last week, I watched Call Your Mother with Kyra Sedgwick. It was pretty good, but I can’t stand any of the ABC shows leading up to it. It’s on at 9:30 after The Conners. It needs a better time slot.

So is anybody else enjoying "Trickster" on CW as much as I am? I like it even more after the second ep. I posted the show info a few posts above.
