Marameko, we have no choice. We either have to wait until 2019 for the new season or it gets canceled because of Noah Hawley's schedule.

A few little details are out about the next season. It's going to be another Midwest period piece. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/fargo-creator-reveals-first-season-4-details-1096355

The reruns of season 3 started last night in the middle of the night on FX. Eps 2 and 3 are next Wednesday night (or rather Thurs early morning). It's a weird schedule. You'll just have to set your dvr to record reruns.

Looks like it will be a long wait for Season 4: “We have a year, and we have a city [that season 4 takes place in],” Littlefield says. “The plan would be to go into production and start shooting in the fall of 2019. Noah has a lot on his plate. Noah knows when it is and where it is, and he’ll commence writing that after he shoots his feature with Fox Searchlight this summer. So in the fall, he’ll begin writing and with Fargo we generally have most of the scripts written before we go into production.” http://ew.com/tv/2018/05/08/fargo-season-4-2020-2/ so it looks like very late 2019 or more likely 2020.

How did I miss that Jessie Plemmons and Kirsten Dinst were dating, engaged and had a baby? They kept that quite.

I saw the first teaser trailer last night. At the end it said "Spring 2020". At least it's a little more narrowed down.

I was asking about Fargo on another thread. I didn’t even think it was on anymore. Has it been a long hiatus?

The last season started April 2017. So by the time the new season starts, it will have been a full 2 years hiatus.

It was good, but 2.5 hours in one night was hard work.

Kitt, about 30 minutes into the first show, Chris Rock's line was "I know you think part of being American is standing on my neck". Do you think it was an inside reference to George Floyd?

Naja, I don't think so. This was filmed last year (I have a FB friend who was on 6-7 episodes). It was supposed to have been released early 2020 and got pushed back - long before George Floyd.

I think it was a long standing phrase before George Floyd. Ruth Ginsburg used it in a case in the 70s that has been discussed a lot lately, and I think she used it as a quote from someone else. eta: yes, it was used in 1837 by this lady: Born in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1792, [Grimké] was the daughter of the chief justice of the state’s Supreme Court and the sister of three lawyers, one of whom became a judge. Along with her sister Angelina, Sarah did become a force for reform in the 19th century; they were the first female agents of the American Anti-Slavery Society, and their anti-slavery and feminist activism profoundly influenced the generations of future reformers. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/rbg-brethren-quote/
