I try not to get hooked on any new shows. All Rise is a can't miss for me. Watched the first episode of Bluff City Law. Passing on that one.

Could we maybe not talk about shows that have already premiered and are ongoing in this thread? I haven't watched my recording of Emergence yet and didn't expect to get spoiled. Just a suggestion for those of us who don't watch shows "live." Thanks!

I’ll try doing that more myself though I’m usually very slow to watch new shows. This fall is an exception for me.

Sugar, I agree. They should never have gotten access to those trademarked names. They show absolutely no resemblance to the original characters and I am disgusted at the behavior they are exhibiting as these new incarnations. Why not just start fresh and label these as new shows and new characters, not smear beloved childhood characters?

I actually enjoy Riverdale. It's not at all what I expected (much darker), but I've enjoyed the characters and the stories. They did a tribute to Luke Perry this week (killed off his character Fred Andrews, Archie's dad), which was really sweet. Shannon Doherty had a cameo as the woman Fred died saving. I cried through the whole thing.

Last night I watched the season 2 premiere of
The Purge and it was really good. You don't even have to have seen season 1. It's another year of the purge and a whole new bunch of people.
This season starts out with the horrifying night of the purge, and the rest of the season is supposed to be the after effects of it on this new cast of people.
It's on USA Network.

Has anybody been watching Limetown on facebook? It's very good. You don't have to be logged into facebok to watch, either.
It's based on a fictional podcast of the same same name.
"Ten years ago, 326 men, women, and children vanished from Limetown—a research facility in the heart of rural Tennessee. There were no witnesses, no clues, no survivors. For most of her adult life, investigative journalist Lia Haddock relentlessly sought answers to the question that no one seemed to be able to answer: What happened to the people of Limetown? 2 eps have been released so far. The total will be 10.
